Guest guest
Thanks, Sari! I am really looking forward to a more light-hearted year with my birthday! It was great learning last year, but the lessons were quite tough. I got a few bruises from the excercises...:-) Felicia Sari M <gerdapp wrote: Therese wrote: This chart has SR Saturn right at the top of the chart > squaring a Moon in the 7th, and also squaring your natal Nepune/Venus > opposition. For a small gift I'll say a few words about your solar return which checks in at 3:38:54 a.m. for Saigon. Now there's always this controversy about whether one should look at the birth place return or the current location return. I've always found the birth place chart to be valid, but the location natal planets that fall on the angles are important too. For Saigon this year's chart is like the last one except (and this is a very important **except**) that Saturn is no longer positoned right at the top of the chart making all those aspects to other planets. This year's chart has a double angular Neptune: Natal Neptune is at the top of the chart, which puts natal Venus at the nadir. Then SR Neptune is on the ascendant in Capricorn (tropical Aquarius). SR Rahu is in the first house conjunct natal Saturn. This is going to set off your natal Saturn. With the SR ascendant lord in 7th, and Venus angular I'd expect some kind of emphasis on relationships, gain and/or loss. These need not be romantic relationships, but could be any relationship involving your natal Venus. Your working situation might also be involved because Neptune is in the 10th. (I'd have to look up symbolism for the two positions of Neptune--stars, etc. to be more definite.) SR Moon is just opposite your Sun, so whatever the Sun represents in your chart will be activated. In your current living location natal Jupiter is just at the top of the chart and SR Jupiter is in the 7th with the SR part of fortune. Now that can't be all bad, can it!! I'm making you work a little for the interpretation. Take what you know about your natal planets, and those will be emphaized this year: Venus-Neptune, but more related to 10th-4th, and natal Sun. Also Rahu on natal Saturn--but this transit is already separating. If you've watched transits to your Saturn, you'll have some idea of what to expect or what has already happened. Pluto is exactly square your Sun now. This is activating the 2nd house in your solar return. These are sidereal charts which are going to have planets in different houses than the tropoial solar return. the Moon in particular will be very different. The only strong aspect your sidereal SR Moon is making is the opposition to your Sun. > The underlying question here is how much free will do we have in these matters? With MC receiving all negative aspects, it certainly looks difficult, but do I have a better alternative? The sidereal chart doesn't have these aspects involving the M.C. As to how to help the year turn out well, I always ask Spirit: " Guide me and help me make the right decisions according to what You see is best. " Prayer beats worrying!! The sidereal chart is always read as a double chart: SR on the outside with the angles, and the natal chart placed on the inside. But your computer program may only allow the SR on the inside (to get the SR angles) and then the natal chart has to go on the outside. The double wheel shows the inter aspects. Sari might have more specific comments for you. I always consider the stars and degrees before trying to be specific with details. As for destiny and free will, we always have the freedom to monitor our thoughts and feelings, but we can't control other people's actions or events that just happen from the outside. I've just looked at your solar return at this time. Now it will incubate in my mind, and I might have some further insight later. Wishing you happiness and fortune for 2008! Guest guest
Hello Therese, This is a very nice birthday gift indeed! Thank you for taking the time to give me the Sidereal perspective on my upcoming year. From what you and others have said so far, it's actually going to be much better than last year, from the sidereal perspective, so I'm really going to focus on those positive aspects! Thank you, for giving me hope...:-) I think this would be another great opportunity for me to gain more sidereal knowledge. First, please tell me which house system you used so I can set up mine to be exact, so I can follow your points. I use Kepler software and the best house system option is see is Sidereal Equal houses. That does put the natal Jupiter at the top of the SR chart as you said. (I'm still not comfortable with Parashara's Light yet, especially because I'm running Vista; it does some funny stuffs with my circular chart so I don't want to fuss with it for now). Do you think Sidereal Equal is good enough for my learning purposes? As for the Neptune Venus angles challenge you gave me, my interpretation would be that I need to balance between finding comfort in / bringing home (4th) harmony (Venus), spirituality (Neptune), and security and structure (Saturn, Rahu, in Aquarius), AND, finding new (Uranus), transforming (Pluto) self-expression/creativity (Leo?) via hard work (Saturn, 10th). I will probably feel pulled between family/home responsibility and my own career/public identity/destiny, more so this year than ever, even though this is not new in my chart. I just already saw it on my birthday. I do have a concern about the Pluto-Mars opposition, though, Therese, especially Pluto is in the SR 6th, which I typically interpret to mean weaker transformative/recuperative power and the ability to deal with stress related to work, responsibilities, etc., typically leading to poor health. I just had major surgery in 2006 but luckily everything went okay. I want to be healthy so I can take care of my daughter, so I'm going to try to learn how to manage stress better so I don't get sick. I just don't like the chest pain I've been having lately, even though the docs can't find anything physically wrong with my heart. As for Neptune and Venus in the chart, from my experience, it tends to mean that relationship(s) will be either very idealistic and beautiful or one can find oneself totally disillusioned from the dream-like quality of the relationship(s), so it's really hard to tell. One must be very careful with that aspect. Also, boundaries must be dissolved, especially ones related to the ego where Neptune is involved. Is this so from the Sidereal side, Therese? Thanks again for your valuable time and insight. Guest guest
Felicia... Remember that the Pluto-Mars oppostion lasts for quite a long time, esp since Mars has just finished being retro and moving very slowly, so anyone born around the time you were born would have it somewhere in their sr. Your's isn't in a particularly prominent position. ....Bettina _____ On Behalf Of Felicia Hong Sunday, March 23, 2008 12:15 PM Re: Re: Felicia's last year's Solar Return Hello Therese, This is a very nice birthday gift indeed!
