In fact, I hate parties and social (only) events, prefering to spend time with friends on a one-on-one basis... Hi Sari and Felicia, So many posts to reply to...I'm way behind! Anyhow, Felicia, the Libra mansion where your Neptune is rather heavy. What you said above applies exactly to me (Sun-Moon in Libra). I'll find some quotes later--no time now. But Venus is really a one-to-one planet, and sidereal Libra isn't especially social. It's serious and tends to be private and melancholy (the exaltation of Saturn). My life is exactly like yours in that: >[Felicia:] I have a few good, close relationships with friends, co-workers, family members, but most of them don't know each other. I just seem to treat my relationships in a compartimentalized way. > > I can be totally unsociable in group or social situations. My interactions usually serve some purpose other than just being social, usually having something interesting to share, discuss, or to be of comfort to each other, or to learn and help each other. > >I have a strong feeling that when I walk among the crowd, I am not noticeable at all! Oh, that is so true of me with Neptune-Venus at the zenith square the ascendant. I call myself the invisible person. This must be because Neptune is only half-time on the earth! > However, if there is reason for me and another person to meet up, whether at work, at the store, at the doctor, etc., people tend to find me pleasant and even charming. This would be Venus. Venus usually tries to be pleasant and charming, but it's not a planet that's happy in a crowded boisterous gathering. That would be Jupiter. > I also have a great love for humour, good, clean, real-life humour. I don't know where that shows up in my chart, but it's another important part of the child within me. You do have Jupiter on your navamsa ascendant, though I think Mercury is supposed to have a lot to do with humor. Mercury is closely square your Moon. This is sidereal Gemini, Felicia. It's a sign that relates very well to chidren because of an interest in learning, learning and expanding the horizons. (Ruler is Mercury). Remember this is tropical Cancer's area of the ecliptic, and this sign definitely can love dealing with children--or has to be with children due to circumstances. Sidereal Gemini loves the growing/learning process. Thus the sign is often related to gardening--watching little plants grow and flower in adulthood. The 5th is your own children. Siblings come under the 3rd house--this from way, way back. Jyotish would say many planets in the 5th can be many children of your own. With Indian equal house you have only one planet in 5th--Mars. Dispositor Neptune is on the ascendant, making that one child very important in your life. > Now I see that sidereally, that stellium has moved to the 6th house! Does that mean there is no fun side of me from the Jyotish perspective? No. All it means is that you don't have so many children of your own, and you have to work. Nothing about fun or no fun. That's tropical. With Mars in the 5th, however, being a separative planet, later on your daughter might be moving some distance away. Or there might be periods of separation due to any number of causes. Therese

How far back? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sari, you don't have to reply to that question. I'm **very** tired tonight and sort of jumped into the frey. I'll read up on this topic and get back to it in a day or two or three. It's all in Greenbam's thoroughly researched book. Sorry about my hastiness. But sidereal air isn't sanguine. We need definitions and then examples from ADB. Therese
