Guest guest
Don, you noted that, " Years ago I exchanged communications with Robert Butts, but I do not remember if that is where I got Jane's birth date time, but I am always interested in people's data and I probably did ask him for it, but again I don't remember. " REPLY: If I use the 8:00pm birth time that was relayed thru a friend of a class-member at Jane's weekly gatherings, I end up with Neptune on the natal chart MC. If I use your 16:59 birthtime I end up with Pluto on the MC of the natal chart. One factor does not prove anything and in Jane Roberts' case, either could be indicative of her life. Neptune fits with a person who can transcend normal consciousness, Pluto can be associated with someone who can change the world -- or at least the way in which one looks at and treats the world. Any " hardening " of your belief that this data may have come from Robert Butts would tend to favor the MC-Pluto connection, so if you do come across information supporting Robert as the source I would really like to know. As for Riyal32, it is freeware that is very accurate and more astronomy focused than astrology focused. It provides: * Sun, Moon and planets * named Centaurs and Transneptunians * Centaurs observed at 2 or more oppositions * Damoclians and Oortoids * long-range scattered-disk objects observed at 2 or more oppositions * Transneptunians with estimated diameters larger thatn 500 or 600 km * the first ten classical Asteroids * 13 Apollos and Amors plus 15 additional main-belt Asteroids * the 8 hypothetical planets used by Uranian astrologers * optionally, the program can load the orbital elements of all the named asteroids (12,000+) and all known distant objects (1,000+) * program covers from 4700BC to 9000AD for the planets and 1BC to 2103 for the main Centaurs and Transneptunians, and 1701 to 2018 for the others stuff * the program has a link to the Swiss ephemeris and can use that if you prefer. Here are the notes: Philip Lucas quotes her letter, " 11:20 or 11:35 PM, " in MH 10/1980. Ter Lohman quotes a letter from her husband of some 30 years, Rob Butts (copy in hand) for 11:30 PM, Saratoga Springs, NY, which she apparently considered her " home town. Guest guest
Dave, Re Jane Robert's birth time, when I wrote that email I just assumed that it was public knowledge (by now) or that you had it. I definitely understand your concern in that regard and when I get some time I'll look for that letter from Rob (but I'm beginning do doubt that's where I got that time)(the context of my communication was that they were being attacked or sued by some people because of their books and I offered to help defend them; he graciously refused any help). That was also the reason why I gave you her wedding date, as a possible help in rectifying her chart, I'm pretty sure that book has other data you could use. I have every book written by her with the possible exception of one " Oversoul 7, " and all books I ran across that were written about her, like Susan Watkins. Remember Richard Bach? I remember the gentleman who introduced me to " Seth Speaks, " just like I remember the nice lady who introduced me to " Emmanuel's Book, " [i, II, III] books that seem to sum up all the others in my wall-sized teak bookcases without any HPB or Sanskrit terms. I'll share my findings and conclusions here in a couple of days. Thanks again, your reply is much appreciated. Dave
Guest guest
Sari, thank you for this data and for noting the source. I've decided to test the 11:30 time for the natal chart versus the event chart for 9-09-1963 at 8:40 pm when Jane was receiving and writing down the concept of the Universe being an Idea Construct. This concept proved to be the underlying force behind much of Seth's later comments and it is a powerful and empowering way to view the world. Have you ever explored any of the Seth books? I've noted that the transiting Nodes are quite often involved in metaphysical/spiritual events. Have you ever > explored any of the Seth books? - No, but I was interested in so called Michael teachings a few years ago. That's channelled information from the 70's, documented in books by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro. At some point I received a document containing original channelling and found out that the material in the published books is quite selected. But I've understood that the Michael material has a lot in common with the Seth books, all is choice etc. I don't know if I agree with that message today at all!
