Guest guest
DONALD TRUMP Example delineation Donald Trump: June 14, 1946 9:51 a.m. Queens, NY; 24 Cancer ascendant Right off I disagree with some statements in Light on Life. The 3rd house is referred to as the house of intellect, but while intellect is Mercurial, it's doubtful that it belongs to any house. So some western ideas are creeping into the text. No....reading further, I'd discount a lot of what is said, so let's go directly to the natal chart. Cancer rises, so the Moon is the lord of the ascendant. The Moon is well placed near the 5th cusp, and this is a stronger statement than the Moon in its fall in Scorpio. This sign (which has tropical Sagittarius energy) is the day house of Mars, so the outgoing active enthusiasm of Mars will influence the Moon (mind, emotions). I also believe that Uranus is exalted in sidereal Scorpio, so we get a real independence and non-conformity in this sign. This sign basically does not listen well to others, which might be how the receptive Moon in its fall manifests in Scorpio. The Moon can become rather rigid here. (The 5th is also supposed to rule speculation, which has been part of Trump's life.) Now the Moon receives the triple whammy (opposition) of Uranus, Rahu and the Sun. Uranus increases the independent entrepreneurship that Trump is know for. I suspect a strong amount of intuition (Uranus) helps with his business decisions. Rahu with the Sun is heavily materialistic. The Sun is the ‘king' without even trying, and if you watched ‘The Apprentice,' you know that Trump lives in a bright and shining gold plated apartment high in (I presume) Trump Towers. Now how does the sign of Taurus come into the picture, which holds Uranus/Rahu/Sun? This sign is a home sign of Venus (makes connections with others) and the exaltation of the Moon, a female planet which also makes social connections and knows how to interact with others (though may not listen very well). Trump also has the finest that money can buy in the cultural sense (Venus). Taurus is supposed to be a sign which relates to resources and money. (It has a tropical Gemini-like energy.) The Sun rules the 2nd house of money and resources, so the Sun in aspect to the ascendant lord in the 11th sign emphasizes Trump's business entrepreneurship. Jupiter trines the Sun and sextiles the Moon, so this adds bigness, wealth and glamor to the Trump image and lifestyle. Jupiter is in Virgo, a sign of Mercury, so most of Trump's life revolves around Mercurial business transactions, mathematical figures, the bottom line. This is because of Jupiter's close trine to the 2nd house lord. Trump may ultimately lose a great deal (He's been in bankruptcy more than once...) since Uranus. Rahu and the Sun cluster around the 12th cusp. He certainly throws around millions of dollars (or more) in business deals without a second thought. Yet he emerges a financial ‘king' because the bright Sun, lord of 2nd, fully aspects his ascendant lord. Because sidereal Taurus/Scorpio are outgoing signs, Trump is out there networking, moving about, socially active. Systems Approach would say the Sun is weak because it's in the 29th degree of the sign, but it's also close to a cusp. So we get the interchange of 1st (Moon) and 2nd (Sun), a solar personality, but also a great deal of expenditure. The Sun is strong in its relationship to the Moon. I don't know if this is helpful, Francois, but I tried! Therese
