Yes, Edgar Cayce did make such comments as " The signs are 30 degrees off.

Place the signs in the Persian calendar rather than the Egyptian... " But if

you scan the readings, his sources used both the constellations and the

tropical signs, but then if you draw up the horoscope that sign is nowhere

to be found! I have stacks of research papers on what Cayce says about

astrology, and I've calculated many of the timed horoscopes.

He didn't say that exactly:

....For Arcturus is that junction between the spheres of activity as related

to cosmic force, and is that about which this particular environ or sphere

of activity rotates... " (Reading 263-15)

We all know that Cayce's language is difficult, and there are a number of

readings on Arcturus that would have to be synthesized. Cayce does say that

when our planetary evolution is completed here, then Arcturus is the

doorway out of this system. This refers to our between-life sojourns in the

planetary spheres.

their studies?

The Lahiri ayanamsa places Arcturus at 0Libra23, which is close, but not

exact. Spica is placed just at the boundary of Virgo-Libra, so this is a

critical location in the zodiac for anyone who has the acendant or key

planets there.

>And why are Tropical charts used in Cayce books?

Because the authors of those books are Tropical astrologers and don't know

how to use a sidereal zodiac! Same with the people who run the Cayce

organization. They don't know much about the technical aspects of astrology

and depend on advice from others.

Therese,

Thank you very very much for your insightful answers to my years of lingering

I'm happy I could help, Don. I have the Cayce CD as well as the two big

astrology books his organization published in the 80s, so if you have any

further questions about Cayce's astrology, just ask!

I also have all the smaller books on Cayce's astrology from other authors,

but these have the author's own ideas mixed with Cayce's. Lots of vertabim

quotes from the readings, however.
