Guest guest
Tropical astrology (or false astrology) was created by muslim in 830. The first tropical chart is dated after 830 AC. Before 830, all charts, all astrologers used sidereal zodiac!: - Anonymous (Fagan-Bradley ayanamsa) 397 AC - Stephanos of Alexandria (ayanamsa for 130 AC) 625 AC [his islam chart showed that Saturn in 24° Cancer [if tropical, 2° Leo] - Naubhakt (Sassanide ayanamsa) 762 AC [chart of Bagdhad) It's strange??? Muslim = Tropical astrology because Mecca was situed exactly in the Tropical latitude (23° N). It's an astronomy reason, no astrology object! The reason was the Hegira calculates (islamic calendar). Tropical longitudes aren't Astrology longitudes. The relics of Ptolemy are the latins traductions of the arabic traduction! In this direction, all people who used tropical zodiac are muslims... no astrologers!!!
Guest guest
Hi Patrice, I wasn't aware of the Muslim origin of the tropical zodiac. What evidence is there to support your contention that the Greeks used the sidereal zodiac? I think the fact that the zodiacs were very close together in those days has made this question difficult to answer definitively. Guest guest
Hi Chris! Exatly! All byzantines astrologers used sidereal zodiac. They are greeks astrologers of Alexandria school of Ptolemy. You can read the works of historians David Pingree or Paul Magdalino in English. All charts were sidereal until 830 AC. It's not my invention... Kind regards. Patrice.
