Hello Therese

Your mention of Mars being ruler of the 10th house points out to me the need

for more data. I've gone through Fagan's primer and Geadow's Zodiac but

haven't come across something specific about houses and rulers used in

western sidereal work. I've been using Campanus for the angles but I'm

sure open to other possibilities. Would you please be so kind as to advise

me where I might seek out more knowledge on this subject?

I'm also shopping around for a PC planetarium program. I think I might have

outgrown Home Planet, a peice of freeware that is a good starting point. [

http://www.fourmilab.ch/homeplanet/ ] Any recommendations or opinions in

this area would be appreciated.

Thanks for your insights

Thanks for that pointer. I will DL it and give it a try. I notice that it

is covered by the Gnu open source agreement which means that if a screenshot

from Stellarium is included in a document the document must be distributed

free. This could be an issue for some.

Warm regards
