Guest guest
Suppose for a moment that tropical not sideral was the right system. Would the Dasas still start around the same time as in the sideral chart? thanks Paulo

Would the Dasas still start around the same time as in the sideral chart? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There can't be any dasas in the tropical chart. The dasas are calculated on the basis of the Moon's position in the sidereal lunar mansions (nakshatras) which align with specific stars. No sidereal mansions means no dasas. Certain ancient western systems exist somewhat like the Indian dasas, but these are more general than the Indian dasa system.
