Jupiter in Sidereal Scorpio

Dear all,

 

Sidereally Jup moved into Scorp yesterday or day before. I am wondering

if someone can write a few paragraphs on how the Jupiter in Scoprio

energy will be different from Jupiter in Libra energy. And how does this

effect all of us in general.

 

Here are my own fumbling efforts. They are very basic and bound to be

erroneus. Please correct/corroborate these and feel welcome to the

mention the better interpretations and add to this.

 

I have read that Jup in Libra is a Jup in enemy's (venus) house. Since

Jupiter is a spiritual/Satwic planet and Venus a material/Rajasic

planet, their energies don't mesh well. Therefore Jupiter

energy doesn't express itself that well in that sign.

 

Now when Jup enters Scorp, a sign ruled by Mars, it should express

itself better as it shares a better relation with mars. Both are

masculine planets for one (although mars is considered Tamasic).

 

Jupiter in Aries would have been more comfortable as both Sag and Aries

are fire signs. But although Mars is a fire planet, it is still in a

water sign. So Jup would be expressed in a watery-fiery, Satvic-Tamasic

manner.

 

SN/Ketu either co rules scorpio or gets exalted in it according to some

vedic folks. Ketu represents intuition. If that's the case then Jup in

Scorpio would also cause metaphysical/spiritual tendencies to become

stronger for the next one year.

 

We could potentially take this discussion to even how the different

ascendants, assuming a whole house sign system, will be affected by

Jup's new position.
