Guest guest
Oh...according to Jyotish, your chart is really significant, Ben. the lords of 9th and 10th create a powerful combination, and they're so close to a cusp, and trined by Uranus. I wish I had future vision to see how your life unfolds. And the 9th harmonic/navamsa chart is totally fascinating! There is going to be 7th house emphasis in your life--no doubt. This should mean a great deal of contact with other people, perhaps in a healing sense. I have yet to compute the planetary periods. Guest guest
Hi Therese, Thanks so much for going to the effort to look at my chart. I don't know enough to fully understand the intricacies of some of what was said, but i'll definately look into it. I've looked at the ideas surrounding the seventh house before as i thought they would be important, and all i was able to get from books was information concerning work relations or marital relations.. I play the role of the tropical cancerian homebody quite well, so any contact with large numbers of people may not have eventuated yet..! Although, in saying that, i have just pulled out of college where i was studying homeopathy and will be looking at going back to university to do post-graduate work in studies in religion..So the future could put me in that sort of environment.. :-) I have " light on life " as well, and was able to read up on punarvasu.. I remember reading up on this quite a while ago, and i think it was the only aspect i was able to take from jyotish that made some sense to me! Thanks again, what you said about destiny resonates with me.. If you have the time i'd be interested in seeing those planetary periods.. Kindest regards, Ben. , therese hamilton <eastwest wrote: > > Oh...according to Jyotish, your chart is really significant, Ben. the lords > of 9th and 10th create a powerful combination, and they're so close to a > cusp, and trined by Uranus. Guest guest
Hi Ben, I got tied up today, so will check your planetary periods tomorrow. The 7th house isn't really about lots of people. It's about one-to-one relationships such as marriage or maybe counseling. Then again there may be 7th house meanings we don't even know about. More tomorrow. Hi Ben, Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. It's been a strange few days for me. I was thinking about the 7th house, and I plan to pull up some charts in the AstrodataBank and see where the life emphasis is for people with stelliums there. >I play the role of >the tropical cancerian homebody quite well... Traditionally we'd expect some kind of 4th house emphasis for that, but with your chart we have to look at Gemini/tropical Cancer. Gemini/Cancer is one of those signs in tune with the inner life--generally, anyway. >I have just pulled out of college where i was studying >homeopathy and will be looking at going back to university to do >post-graduate work in studies in religion..So the future could put >me in that sort of environment.. :-) Interessting...Please keep in touch as I'm very interested in the direction your life will take in coming years. eastwest The close conjunction of Mercury/Sun/Moon on the 7th house cusp has to mean something significant. With so much emphasis on the western side of the chart (tropical idea) the interpretatioon should be that the life is tied up somehow with other people, at least when those dasa periods are running. >If you have the time i'd be interested in seeing those planetary >periods.. I have your planetary periods here according to Krishnamurti, and if astrology means anything, you are ready to enter an entirely new period of life. At the beginning of December of this year you will be completing the 19 year period of Saturn and going into Mercury's 17 year period. You have been in the Saturn/Jupiter period since May 20, 2004. This is a long sub-period. The K system has an interesting approach to interpreting dasas. First we'd look to planets in Jupiter's stars (nakshatras). This relates back to the stellium on your 7th cusp, so I'm wondering if this period correlated with university studies since the Sun rules the 9th house, and Mercury the 10th. A degree granted perhaps? But...hmmm...no relationship issues...? In the navamsa Jupiter is in the 9th house, and the 9th sign natally. Overall this should have been a good and productive period. Jupiter is 4th lord, so this period might have emphasized the home and/or family as well. Now Mercury's period...this points again to the Gemini stellium, but also Neptune on the 12th cusp since Neptune is in Mercury's star as is Rahu in the 8th. So along with the 7th the emphasis goes to the 8th and 12th houses. I don't give the 12th the usual dire meanings. Since it's the house of Pisces, I believe it has to do with travel (inner and/or outer) and the expansion of counsciousness. The 8th has to do with the life energy and also emphasis on some kind of conformity such as in schools (as a student or teacher) churches, institutions, armies, political parties. The 12th cannot be as the books say since our last two presidents have had 12th house suns as well as President Carter. Planets in the 12th have a kind of compulsion to express themselves, so the Sun there ends up in some kind of dominant role. If Neptune works as lord of the 4th (along with Jupiter), then Neptune in the 12th might mean a home distant from the parental home. I confess to more or less shooting in the dark here, because there are so many ways the planets can manifest that astrologers generally can accurately read the horoscope only in retrospect. According to theory, however, when the Mercury period is over, you'll know what the Gemini stellium, Rahu and Neptune are all about in your horoscope. The Sun/Mercury forms the raja (kingly) yogas according to Jyotish. This is one of the few yogas I have managed to memorize! It occurs to me that the entire 7th house stellium might also describe a mate or partner. It's definitely linked to Uranus (by trine) and Neptune (by quincunx). Mercury/Sun doesn't kick in until February 2013. Mercury/Mercury begins Dec 1, 2006 and Mercury/Ketu starts April 29, 2009. so the double Mercury period will be a long one.
