Guest guest
Hi everyone, from JackMaker (or John Macher, but folks always say it wrong, and I was called Jack long before my birthname John...), I haven't been exactly astrologically active in a while, but I'm trying to turn that around. Are the other M.A.G. S.F., CA Siderealistos still active in this forum?? In regards to the Taurus as 1st thread, from what I've read, Fagan and the (Pre-?) Egyptians set Libra as the first sign. The glyph for Libra representing the sun rising on the horizon, and also the idea that the scales :balance: are located in the head, in the inner ear. Scorpio follows next in line as ruler of the neck and throat. The glyph of Scorpio representing the decapitated snake, the bridge between mind and body: " the head, the heart and the pointed part " , " the well of souls " . {Also, check out the myth and symbology of the founding of Mexico City; VERY Scorpio}. Naturally, Sagittarius follows the three piece suit holding sway over the shoulders and arms: the mechanism of the ARCHER, and all that huggy, gregarious hippie crap. Capricorn as the earthy hands, Aquarius the all- pervasive yet impersonal heart, etc. on down the line. @ Pluto... Is anyone else marvelling at how Pluto has spent the past thirteen- howevermany-years in Sidereal Scorpio, then it breeches Sagittarius briefly, retrogrades back into Scorpio (where it is now), and is then reclassified as a minor planet, or whatever- the-hell they're calling it (a potential comet?), plus the addition of the new planet Eris (anybody have the ephemeris on that cat?). Pretty revolutionary stuff, no? Pretty damn cool. Also I still need help with my Jupiter Transits if anyone is interested... ~J@ckM , " Sari Metsovuori " <gerdapp wrote: > > Hi Therese, > > you wrote: > > > There are some interesting ideas in your post except that Cyril Fagan was > > wrong when he said that Taurus was once the first sign of the zodiac.
