Then I read in a Jyotish publication that the little Indian man who could pull birth times out of the psychic realm said she was born at 1:10 p.m. I tested that time, and the solar returns checked out perfectly. Why I didn't keep that publication in the same folder with Diana's charts is a mystery to me. It's somewhere in my two rooms of office clutter. Is there someone on this list who remembers the Indian man's name and who has that magazine? Therese
Guest guest
A good project for us at this time --the three different times for Diana. Should be easy... only one could wind up a dead princess in a tunnel. Shall we? ________________________________ therese hamilton wrote: > At 06:56 PM 9/3/06 +0300, Sari wrote: > > >I'm using 7.45 PM for Diana. > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > Richard Houck, who always seemed to be right, and who used the 2:15 > time. > Then I read in a Jyotish publication that the little Indian man who > could > pull birth times out of the psychic realm said she was born at 1:10 > p.m. I > tested that time, and the solar returns checked out perfectly. > >

Sari: That was probably Yogi Karve, the famous Indian psychic, who is said to be able to tell your birth time accurately without knowing anything beforehand. Many have praised him. If he says that Diana was born at 1.10 PM, I'm certainly interested. Umm... that would give Virgo rising... I'm not perfectly sure about that. Of course the Sun and Mercury would be in the 10th (whole sign) house then, which would be fitting regarding her exceptional publicity. I'm not an expert in Diana's life, but I would surely be interested to read what you others have to say. Regards, Sari
Guest guest
Folks, Just to clarify this point, in his book Digital Astrology, Rick Houck wrote that Yogi Karve " asserted a birth time of 2:10 when asked " for Princess Diana. (p. 208) Either Therese has misremembered the time or she is thinking about someone else. And while we're at it, Houck also used the meanings of the sidereal signs straight up without any interpretive blurring and fancy footwork as Therese would have it. So he believed sidereal Aries had typically Arian traits and was not some sort of crypto-Taurus. In his opinion, the tropical zodiac was simply wrong and a huge, embarrassing mistake for astrology. best wishes, Chris Sari Metsovuori <gerdapp wrote: Therese wrote: > I used that time for many months, and had quite a few go-arounds with > Richard Houck, who always seemed to be right, and who used the 2:15 time. > Then I read in a Jyotish publication that the little Indian man who could > pull birth times out of the psychic realm said she was born at 1:10 p.m. I > tested that time, and the solar returns checked out perfectly. Guest guest
No, the time was 1:10 in the original Jyotish publication. I'll try to find the magazine later today. But sidereal astrologers continued to use 2:10 because they believed that Mr. Karve didn't take into consideration summer time. But I believe Mr. Karve meant what he said: 1:10 p.m. clock time.
