(1) The first chart belongs to Doug Stephen, American radio host

whose " Good Day USA " morning program is heard in over 300 cities, the

10th highest ranking radio show in the U.S: Asc 17 Cap; Jupiter 16,

Sun 19 Libra; Here Jupiter combines with the Sun to give wide

exposure to the host of a radio show. Note, however, that this is

radio rather than T.V, which would have a much larger audience

appeal. This may be the result of the Sun in its fall, perhaps,

rather than exalted in Aries. The show is number 10 rather than

number 1.

 

(2) Whoopi Goldberg is the big name under sidereal Libra Suns in the

10th house: Asc 26 Cap; Neptune 5.5, Mercury 15, Moon 19, Sun 17

Libra. Note the difference between Brooke Shields, widely considered

to be beautiful and a former model and Whoopi, who can be considered

very interesting, but by no means beautiful in the conventional

sense. Is this due to Taurus being the sign of the exaltation of the

feminine Moon while Saturn is exalted in Libra?

 

Whoopi's biography contains a great deal of Venus-Libran-occult-

spiritual symbolism. In drug rehab, she had an affair with her

counselor who fathered her daughter. She acted while working as a

beautician in a morgue. (Tropical Scorpio symbolism to be sure.)

 

She portrayed an intergalactic bartender (a psychic or intuitive as I

remember...?) on " Star Trek, the Next Generation " for six seasons.

She won an Oscar for her role as the fortune-telling con artist

in " Ghost. "

 

Whoopi had a number of high profile romances, which led to the

breakup of a marriage. For years she has been involved in a spiritual

quest that led her to study the Kabala. Whoopi has Neptune with Venus

(dispositor of her natal Libra planets) in the navamsa.

 

A reminder that I use the equal cusps as the centers of equal 30

degree houses. Essentially this emphasizes aspects to the ascendant

or another angular cusp. Planets near the 2nd cusp trine the 10th;

Planets near cusp 12 trine the 4th, and so on.
