Guest guest
I've just spent some minutes with Gleadow's book, YOUR CHARACTER IN THE ZODIAC, and it's really a *must* read for anyone interested in what early authors said about the signs. He points how the many disagreements between writers and how their words relate to today's astrology. Of course Gleadow was one of the early siderealists, and so he is opinionated in many ways. Nevertheless, his quotes from old texts are valid and necessary reading for anyone who's interested in the origins of sign meanings. Anything I'd say would be building on Gleadow's work. Until Chris or anyone else who's interested has read this book, there's not much I can add to Gleadow's basic thoughts except a lot of quotes from Valens.
