Guest guest
For anyone interested in the discussion of what early Hellenistic authors wrote about the signs, there are two essential references: (2) On the Project Hindsight web page there is an excellent article titled " Catalogue of Hellenistic Astrologers and Their Writings. " This article can be printed for reference and tells us how the early tradition was recorded. Very important article! (2) Rupert Gleadow's book, YOUR CHARACTER IN THE ZODIAC is the best over-all reference for this discussion. There's another book listed on Amazon with a slightly different title, but I think they are probably the same book. These two titles are available used from Amazon.com (3) The very best source of early sign meanings is Valens' ANTHOLOGY. Unfortunately this book is out of print. Valens' sign statements are extensive and a compilation of earlier writers. I do have this book and can extensively quote from it. But most astrologers interested in this topic will be able to obtain only the two references above. All you western siderealits who belong to the Fagan-Bradley school: This is a very important topic. I hope some of you are interested. Therese
