Guest guest
Dear All, Wetting my feet in the waters of sidereal astrology,it is hard not to notice the widespread use of Equal House System. I was wondering about some issues related to it. This approximation should work fine if the actual Asc is in the earlier degrees of the sign. But what if the Asc. happens to be in the late degrees of the sign. In that case, as I understand it so far, the sky space corresponding to that star constellation would be almost moving back eastward and the sky space corresponding to the following star constellation is about to form the backdrop of the horizon. For instance, my Asc is 24 degrees Gem. Is it really a good approximation to treat the entire first house as Gemini ? Isn't a lot of information being lost by making the first house=rising sign assumption here? That becomes more important since my Saturn is at 11 degrees Gem. Would it be better to consider this Saturn in 12th house instead of 1st? (This Saturn is Rx too). Any comments are welcome. Thanks Bliss
Guest guest
I should have said whole sign-house system. , " theblisswithin " <theblisswithin wrote: > > Dear All, > Wetting my feet in the waters of sidereal astrology,it is hard not to > notice the widespread use of Equal House System. > > I was wondering about some issues related to it.
