Guest guest
The Iraqi general election was held last Dec. 15, 2005 starting at 7:00 AM in Baghdad. The ASC was 22-35 Sag, the MC was 09-04 Libra (tropical because I work with some students and its easier to precession-correct charts at this point), with Sun conjunct Pluto -- both within 2 degrees of the ASC and sequequadrate Mars and also to Saturn -- Mars and Saturn squaring each other. A tough chart all around. Being a recent chart, one can easily generate progressed S/R angles for the few days between Dec. 15th 2005 and this past week -- all without having to actually run a couple of S/R charts I do this using two small chart forms; 1) A day-of-the-year chart for converting calendar days to day numbers, and 2) a chart form that I made up that permits me to utilize ST intervals between S/R charts, MC movement over 450 degrees, and the number of iterval days. This second chart is generally accurate to within a day or so or a degree or two for the MC and tells me when and if to calculate a precise progressed daily chart. The number of days since the election to the outbreaks and bombings of the mosque was some 60 days. The difference in ST from the last S/R to the next S/R is 6h 15m 17s -- which is close enough to my chart line for 30h (6h plus 24h) 14m. I follow the line down to the 60 day mark and then up to the MC and see that the MC has moved almost 80 degrees in that interval (using the 1.25 degree rate) This progresses the MC to the S/R Sun-Pluto conjunction, and the ASC is now square that Sun-Pluto. Such simple processes allows us to follow and anticipate the news we receive. MY QUESTION IS, " Do others use the same types of techniques to follow charts as what I've outlined here? " I don't mind doing charts, I sometimes run 40 or 50 a week, but it seems easier to use shortcuts such as this. Dave.
