Guest guest
Hello All, I have been a member of this group for some time now. I studied tropical for some years before I realized that my own chart made more sense to me when done sidereally. Compared to the vast amount of free information available on the net on tropical, the sidereal info. is very limited. The sites based on vedic astro, for instance, are almost always about money. I would love to see more info. about it here too, especially the inter-relations about sidereal-tropical signs. Most people get shocked when they learn they might be another sign and vehemently defend their positions. If there are easily available free resources where they can explore alternative possibilities, that would be very non-confrontationally effective approach. I have never seen chat messages here. Would anyone care to meet in chat once in a week or so. That would be great. On a personal note, I have been meditating a lot lately and recently had this vague vision. It seemed like a Japanese pilot going down. In my present life I had wanted to be a fighter pilot. It didn't materialize though. I was wondering if anyone would want to look at my chart and see if having been a Kamimaze is a possibility. Even otherwise, any comments would be very valuable. Thanks Bliss DOB: 20th Oct'73,11.22 pm,Baroda/Vadodara (Gujrat 73e12,N 22),India.
Guest guest
Hello Bliss, Welcome to the visible side of the sidereal list. Please continue to post your thoughts and questions. For material on tripical and sidereal signs, please check this link for one view of the comparison: http://users.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm As for zodiac signs, I personally feel that the Tropical zodiac is a myth, and that any traits observed by Tropical astrologers are really only traits of the sidereal signs. Details are on the above link where, for example, you can see the logic of Tropical Taurean traits making more sense in the context of a sign ruled by Mars. You are on moderation, but I will remove you later when I have time. Being on moderation means that your posts go into storage until I send them through to the list. Re: your vision it sounds like a picture of a past-life recall. Many of us have those dreams and/or intuitions. If you feel very much at home with Japanese culture, you can assume you have had one or more past lives in Japan. And considering Japan's history, it's more than likely you were involved in wars. Regarding chat, I've never been to a live chat room and am not sure how to start one. I've been on chats on Messenger though. Maybe that's the same thing? I'm not the list owner by the way, but am presently taking care of this forum. Therese At 02:56 AM 2/6/06 -0000, you wrote: >Hello All, >I have been a member of this group for some time now. Guest guest
Welcome Bliss, Nothing delights the heart of an astrologer so much as finding a kamikaze past life among the daily offerings. You were born and bred for the task : Sun-Uranus opposite Mars (4 & 10) can fall from the sky as an arrow and for easily pursued self undoing there is nothing like Mars sextile Saturn-Ketu (12.) But we must find a noble cause for you, so let's just turn to The Worshipful Showa [Hirohito] 4/29/1900 10:10 pm JST Tokyo (Blackwell.) The more obvious indicators you may see. A more obscure one is your Saturn = Showa's ASC/Saturn. Now He was born at the full moon...his Sun in the Divine 5th midpoints your Libra planets. It is the exact placing of Uranus-Pluto-Nodes in your diurnal drawn for Showa's birth in 1900 that blossoms these yearnings for the dead former self which are awakened by your present solar return with Pluto on the 4th and its exact trine, but also the closeness of Venus to encapsulate all that diurnal stuff...it also brings up all this froth (your solar touches everything I have.) All returns B.Place Placidian. These situations do not have to be past lives; they could even be more economically understood as tapping into archetypes, i.e., the brain as receiver downloading Mind which is elsewhere as evidenced by the idiot savants. Maybe I was a commoner, maybe a King, doesn't matter to me. All that matters is the truth and how that is affecting me this life time. I am new to astrology in general and very new to sidereal in particular. So I couldn't understand some of what you mention. 'Diurnal' for instance. Could you kindly elaborate for this novice again. > It is the exact placing of Uranus-Pluto-Nodes in your diurnal drawn for Showa's > birth in 1900 that blossoms these yearnings for the dead former self which are > awakened by your present solar return with Pluto on the 4th and its exact trine, > but also the closeness of Venus to encapsulate all that diurnal stuff...it also > brings up all this froth (your solar touches everything I have.) Guest guest
Hi, To do a diurnal chart, just redo your birth chart exactly but substitute the date in question for your birthdate while making sure the time zone is not altered ..George Bush was born under EDT, so you use EDT for all his diurnals summer or winter. In the last election of 11/2/04, the correct chart will put transit Sun on the ASC. The diurnal is activated by a planet conjunct angles or cusps allowing an orb of one degree. Otherwise the charts sleep. Your diurnal in five days (2/17) yields transit Saturn on the MC with natal Saturn on the 9th cusp. A situation of gravity. The noble cause is not for you now (although it might be most welcome), it would have been for you as kamikaze, the worship of your Sun Emperor giving motivation. Idiot savants can accomplish extraordinary mental feats like the Easter dates of any year thousands of years forward or backwards. There was one who could recite the numbers on all the engine blocks below his 2nd story window. All this comes from elsewhere. Guest guest
Hello Dark*Star, Thanks for the terrific info!. I tried it. I used Lahiri and F/B zodiac and Vedic house and then campanus too. In all combinations I see natal Saturn in 10th house and transit Saturn on 17th Feb also there. Maybe there is something I have missed. Please let me know. On this related note, I also wanted to ask your opinions on Saturn being a 'malefic' all the time. I have some Vedic reports that say since my natal Saturn in in Gemini, it is a benefic. In my Vedic Navamsa chart saturn is in capricorn in the 9th house. I assume Saturn in a air sign grounds the thinking and therefore is good for the native? Also in the diurnal, the Asc. is in Aquarius, so sidereally/vedically Saturn would be the chart ruler? What does this all add upto? At this time, I am going through some serious crises in my Grad School program and curious what this might indicate about that area. I was told by someone that in my natal, the Transit Pluto (6th house, Sag) starts squaring my Natal Pluto ( 4th house, Virgo) sometime soon ( possibly already does) and opposes natal Saturn Conjunct Natal South node (1st house, Gemini). This forms a T square. Also Transit wise Southnode starts conjuncting the Natal Pluto The Transit Pluto also starts sextiling the Natal Sun (4th house, libra). I have been told that this is 'good' overall, whatever that translates to. Didn't mean to make this very long, but might be pertinent to point out that my North Node itself is right in the middle of the Yod between Saturn, Jupiter (7th/8th Cusp, Capricorn) and Neptune ( 6th, Scorpio). So I believe that the way to 'resolve' the Yod, so to say, is to focus on North Node. And these transits are doing just that. I am also curious about the relevance of relocation charts. Since I have crossed 10.5 hours of time zones and am presently at Kansas ( 95 w14, 38N 58), the relocation chart looks almost nearly the opposite. The natal below the horizon planets go up and the ones to the right go left and vice-versa. In that case, Natal North node in first house is being conjuncted or about to be by Transit Pluto. Natal Saturn goes to 7th house then. I wanted to mention that since you had pointed out that Pluto by being on angular house is activating the Diurnal. I would appreciate any clarifications/toughts/comments/insights on any or all of the above. Best Regards Bliss ( PS: Life at the moment and since the last few months or even last few years is anything but bliss...LOL....but at least that's a goal )) , Dark Star <pansophia wrote: > > > Hi, > > To do a diurnal chart, just redo your birth chart exactly but substitute the date > in question for your birthdate while making sure the time zone is not altered > .George Bush was born under EDT, so you use EDT for all his diurnals summer or > winter. Guest guest
hello star, Thanks for the message. When I do Bush's chart, using New Haven, Connecticut,as the birth place, for 11th February 2004,7.26 am, I see the Natal Sun in 12th house at 28 degs Cap, the transit sun at 3 deg aquarius, asc at 9 deg aquarius, therefore the sun is about 6 degs short of asc. Not sure if this link will work, but here it is http://www.astro.com/cgi/showgif.cgi?lang=e & gif=achart_hl7fileVByV2D- u1135822075.68557.7725.gif & res=100 & va= Let me know your comments. Guest guest
Herr Bliss, Just to humour your sub-continent I redid your problem in LAHIRI: Feb 11 2004 7:26 am EDT and got ~ transit Sun 28*Capricorn and ASC 17*Capricorn. Your link didn't work. You did EST. Forget summer/winter, George Bush's diurnals must always be EDT.When you do get this right go to the original problem...George Bush for election day _November 2, 2004 (you misread American notation) and try to get transit Sun on ASC. Do you see how this laborious business is actually working out to be part of your 2/17/05 transit Saturn on MC; natal Saturn on 9th Placidian cusp of the diurnal? A difficult teaching done from afar also transit Saturn with the partile trine of transit Rahu...teaching from a foreigner. So try again... Guest guest
Hello Star, Yups, I got the Sun Asc for Bush! But going back to my own chart, I created the chart for DOB 17th Feb, 2006,same time 11.22 pm and same time zone, India time, house system: placidius and zodiac: ( from among the options at astro.com) Fagan/ Bradley, Geocentric/Sidereal. I do see now the transit saturn at 11 cancer, so conjunct MC. But the natal Saturn is almost on the 10th house cusp, 1 degree short, not on the 9th house cusp. I guess we have made progress, but still something missing. So looking forwarding to your further comments now. Thanks Bliss , Dark Star <pansophia wrote: > > > Herr Bliss, > > Just to humour your sub-continent I redid your problem in LAHIRI: Feb 11 2004 > 7:26 am EDT and got ~ transit Sun 28*Capricorn and ASC 17*Capricorn. Guest guest
Bliss, If you got 11 Cn MC on the diurnal, you will get 10 Ge on the 9th cusp which = your natal Saturn of 10 Gemini. _________________________________ theblisswithin wrote: > Hello Star, > Yups, I got the Sun Asc for Bush! > > But going back to my own chart, I created the chart for DOB 17th Feb, > 2006,same time 11.22 pm and same time zone, India time, house system: > placidius and zodiac: ( from among the options at astro.com) Fagan/ > Bradley, Geocentric/Sidereal. > > I do see now the transit saturn at 11 cancer, so conjunct MC. > But the natal Saturn is almost on the 10th house cusp, 1 degree > short, not on the 9th house cusp. > > I guess we have made progress, but still something missing. > So looking forwarding to your further comments now. > > Thanks > Bliss > > , Dark Star <pansophia > wrote: > > > > > > Herr Bliss, > > > > Just to humour your sub-continent I redid your problem in LAHIRI: > Feb 11 2004 > > 7:26 am EDT and got ~ transit Sun 28*Capricorn and ASC > 17*Capricorn. Guest guest
HI, thanks for the info. NOt sure what's happening. IS there sometime we can (all of us or some of us ) could meet in the chat. Say Sunday 5 pm central time. for 30 minutes or so. Text/voice chat both are fine with me. Text is better I think. We can exchange URLs there and you could show me on real time what I might be doing wrong. (In the chat room of this group I mean). Hope others might find that useful too. Just a thought.
