To me, this is a contentious question that requires proof ahead of anything else. Hi Chris, I want to thank you for this comment because in going back and reviewing what I wrote, I wouldn't even agree with myself as I wrote that paragraph! (I'll have to change it.) I don't think there are 'writers signs' as such. The truth is more likely that a sign might describe the type of writing a person does or perhaps only how he/she writes. So we have gossip columnists, writers of fiction, technical writers, etc. Using myself as an example, I have a Mars-Mercury mutual reception, Mercury being on a cusp in Scorpio, Mars in Virgo. So I write boring technical (Mars) articles like those on my web site. I tend to use a lot of figures and tables (Mercury). I have no Moon to speak of, so I'd be completely incapable of writing pulp fiction. And I can't buy into Rudhyaresque astrology. So a future research project might be to see if there is any correlation between the type of writing a person does and the signs of the Moon and Mercury. Thinking about the Taurus-Virgo-Capricorn trigon, which I tend to call the Mercury trigon (because Mercury is at home and exalted in Virgo), this wouldn't be a particularly creative set of signs. Rather they might tend to science and/or mathematics because I believe their innate functioning is of the mind--neither emotional nor intuitive--but similar to the Tropical air signs. I do hold with the early sideralists in that the traits of the Tropical signs are really sidereal sign bleed through. And that's just my two cents.
