Minimalism -- OK for some applications

Concerning the topic of " minimalism " I believe its practical and

appropriate in certain areas. One of these areas involves my use of

PSSRs. The Solar Returns mark a continuing-since-birth solar cycle,

and proportionalizing or progressing inbetween dates and angles gives

us a simple way of focusing on this cycle. I use just those planets

that are at the angles, and during the year every planet (natal, solar

or transiting) will be at each of the angles. Using just these planet

meanings, and their associations with the natal chart (wherein I do

use a fuller range of astrological tools) I have found it quite easy

and dependable to determine the nature of events that are about/have

arrived. So, for me, this sort of minimalism seems to work. Dave
