Guest guest
Hi I have been studying astrology off and on for a couple years, and I have decided that I needed to see the other side, and see for myself the best path to take. I have just started with sidereal, so I am a real young student in all of this. I think I really don't know much, but I hope to plow through until I learn. I hope you will forgive me if I ask questions that might appear really stupid, but I am determine to learn. Thanks. Lincoln

Check out some of the files I uploaded here, they're excerpts from some old magazines written by Fagan/Bradley, it's a good way to get started. Good luck. -Crystal

Hi Lincoln, Welcome to the sidereal list, which has become quite eclectic. The list began with an emphasis on the Fagan-Bradley school of sidereal astrology, but now includes a fair amount of Jyotish. For a take on sidereal signs, please see this link: http://users.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm The old school siderealists such as Cyril Fagan, Carl Stahl and Rupert Gleadow used to point out that some of the tropical sign interpretations really belonged to the preceding (underlying) sidereal sign, but this idea has fallen out of favor with their students of today. The site above makes an effort to return to the sign concepts of the sidereal fathers. Today's western sidereal students (We're all students!) emphasize planets on angles rather than signs of the zodiac. Thus, it's difficult to get a handle on signs as they are not seen as important as the planets. Anyhow...welcome, and I apologize for the fact that this list has been relatively quiet lately. We all seem to be involved in other areas of life. Blessings, Therese Acting moderator
