Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to Sidereal, although I've been studying astrology for some time. I have IO Edition for Mac and find it helpful. I thought the interpretation sound and thoughtful, but inaccurate when doing natal charts with the Tropical system. I began experimenting and went for my books, my library is packed since we're moving, and to satisfy my strong Mercury desire for information I looked toward the Internet. I found it lacking at best. I'm not as advanced as what I see here so far, but I am interested and want to learn the value of Sidereal and how to explain it when casting a chart and handing over the 25 page document that tells someone they are not a Cancer Sun as they've thought all their life, but a Gemini. Yes, that's me. I want to know exactly, in layman's terms, why this is more accurate. After reading some things on the Internet I've found contradictions. Is this a fixed star system that is rectified/ adjusted? Then if that's so why isn't Tropical valid too? I know this probably sounds primary and is, but I want a sound foundation of understanding not bits and pieces. I also understand this is a lifetime of study and education. I'm not asking to be an expert, just to understand what I'm about to study. So far the aspects and signs that are on target in my own chart fascinate me. And, holy cats, does it change my idea about myself! Thanks, T
