Guest guest
As I predicted on April 30th, the Liberal government lost a confidence vote yesterday which has left parliament in a state of impasse. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20050511.wxvotegom11/BNStory/\ National/ Here's what I wrote on Apr 30th on the mundane-astrology group: " The tension is building as Paul Martin's minority Liberal government teeters on the brink as a non-confidence vote is expected in May. I have been predicting this government would be short-lived ever since the election of June 28, 2004. In March, I wondered if the time around May 10-12th would prove to be decisive. This may well turn out to be the time of the vote that brings the goverment down and forces an election, although current media reports are pointing to the 18th. I doubt it will be left that late as I think Harper's Conservatives will find a way to pull the plug sooner to pave the way for a June election. And as I've been saying for almost a year, the Liberals will lose the election. " While I thought it would be sufficient to topple the government and force an election, it seems that the Liberals will likely hang on another few days or perhaps a week before they table their own confidence motion which I believe they will lose. Under parliamentary rules, an election is required if a government loses such a motion. So it looks more and more likely that an election will be called for June or early July, as I've been predicting since July 2004. Better get used to " Prime Minister Stephen Harper " . cheers, Chris http://modernVedic Astrology.com Mail - You care about security. So do we.
