Guest guest
Given that the Lunar New Year Chart (Chaitra Shukla Pratipada) 2005 for America is showing challenges, I decided to look specifically at the topocentric Solar Eclipse chart for Yellowstone. Scientists monitoring the area say that there is increased geothermal activity but there is no cause for concern. But is there? The ascendent is 6Le34 (krishnamurti). The SE point is at 25Pi19. The discussion on upagrahas prompted me to check out the position of Dhuma. Add 4s 13deg20min to the Sun position. This gives 8Le38. Quite close to the ascendent. Phala deepika says " Some astrologers maintain that Dhuma looks like a fuming cloud " Dhuma causes trouble from heat and danger from fire. The SE point is in the 8th house(note Sun is asc lord) and together with the ascendent is in the sub of Rahu. Rahu is in a nakshatra ruled by Mercury. Mercury is a key planet here. 1. It is near 8th cusp 2. Debilitated 3, Maraka 4. It is lord of mrityu saham and is in close square to mrityu saham. Malefic SE Moon afflicts ascendent lord Sun. The descendent is close to the Uranus /Neptune midpoint. Uranus =sudden Neptune=deep. If we use a geocentric SE chart, then the incendiary combination Mars/Neptune is close to the descendent There is the possibility of volcanic activity in the Yellowstone region in the weeks following the Solar Eclipse. If anyone is considering a summer vacation, I would tend to avoid this area. Regards Ron
Guest guest
Ron, how about reposting this message with the code unravelled? Only a few of us know what 'Chaitra Shukla Pratipada' means. Ditto the other Hindu/Sanskrit terms like Dhuma and mrityu saham. If you care about communicating with members of this list, we'll need the English translations. Thanks, Therese At 03:39 PM 1/30/05 +1000, you wrote: > >Given that the Lunar New Year Chart (Chaitra Shukla Pratipada) 2005 for >America is showing challenges, I decided to look specifically at the >topocentric Solar Eclipse chart for Yellowstone. The eclipse chart this year in April coincides with the lunar new year chart. This chart is useful for mundane predictions when cast for the capital of the country. Dhuma ----- one of the upagrahas or shadow planets. Similar to Rahu and Ketu. Not much data available on these. Some info in Parashara. mrityu saham ---- the Arabic part for death Regards Ron
Guest guest
Thanks, Ron, but in future posts just insert the translations or leave out the Sanskrit/Hindi altogether. No one will miss it.
