Guest guest
Hello All, I started my astrological studies in 1971 and discovered sidereal techniques, thanks to American Astrology magazine, in 1975. I use precession corrected Solar and Lunar Returns and tend not to use signs, houses and aspects other than the hard aspects and paran- squares. With my Solar Returns I also plot the moving angles on a chart from one SR to the next; this permits me to watch the moving angles relative to when they contact the natal and S/R angles as well as when various planets will be " angular " on a given day. I seem to have been operating outside of the Sidereal community for some time so it is likely that my approaches may be a little tangental to some of those on this site. However, I find the sidereal platform and techniques have served me well. I love to engage in predictive work and have, on other sites, predicted the capture of the Washington DC Sniper and other events. As we know, these capabilities are quite common for Sidereal Astrologers. I'll probably spend a little time reviewing the messages on this site and will start popping into conversations once I've come to appreciate the varying practices and efforts of the members of this site. Guest guest
Hi Dave, Welcome to the sidereal group! From what you write there will be some sidereal members here that will be happy to see you. Please let us know about some of your predictions (past or future) and how you move the angles of the return charts. It sounds as if you use western sidereal methods, which some forum members will especially appreciate. We've had a fair amount of Jyotish/Vedic lately. However, this site was originally set up as a forum for the Fagan-Bradley sidereal school. We welcome your participation! Guest guest
Hi Dave, Welcome to the group. I'm looking forward to hearing your contributions. While this is nominally a western sidereal group, it has become more Vedic recently, owing to the ebb and flow of member interests. While I am mostly a Vedic-inspired astrologer, I am interested in learning more western sidereal techniques. regards, Chris --- Dave <dadsnook wrote: > > > Hello All, > I started my astrological studies in 1971 and discovered sidereal > techniques, thanks to American Astrology magazine, in 1975.
