I'm backtesting Bradley's Solar return book, he talks about the " campanian

house system " which I guess is the same as " Campanus " ??

Does anyone here have any strong opinion on what house system is best ?

The Meridian house system offers a solution for the northern countries.

Then the Eastpoint is in I and the Ascendant occupies -depending on the

latitude- house XI the Ascendant's influence is like Sun/Aquarius XII:

The person is a retiring personality (researchers in laboratory at the

background of social life. In I: Aries influence.In II Taurus influence

III Gemini influence. Eastpoint is always Ist house.Eastpoint is as

valuable as Ascendant in I. Showing as much character-traits as the

Ascendant in I. Often I recognize this in charts of my children and

grandchildren. I am practicing the Meridian houses (they are the

traditional houses) for 20 years now.First it was merely an experiment.

My program Janus offers this Meridian house system and also Ascendant

houses. Then the MC is floating from X, IX or VIII till VII etc etc

depending how high is the latitude in the chart. Quite interesting

for research.

Thanks, I'll try that one. I'm testing for Oslo, Norway, which is 60 degrees
