Guest guest
Greetings to All and Happy Holidays, I guess I should re-introduce myself since I've been gone so long. I just wanted to let you know that I'm back on the list. It is my intention to mainly just be a lurker and read other people's opinions on the astrological causes behind certain events. There are several folks on this list whose analyses I respect and would like to read their writings: Ron Gaunt, Ron Day, Chris Kevill, Martin Gansten, and a few others are names that come to my mind. I've given up on running my own lists because I hate being the only participant. So, I think I'm better suited to sit back on someone else's list and occasionally chime in. Ron and Chris' lists seem to be the best, so that's where I intend to hang out and read other folks' musings and insights. Rony (aka: Ron Grimes) - I'm adopting this name in order to avoid confusion with Ron Gaunt and Ron Day. Too many Ron's I used to only let my mother call me Rony, but what the h***, I don't have to hear the name - only read it. It's part of my new " don't take yourself so d*** serious " attitude. Otherwise it's pronounced R-oh-ny with a long 'o.' But I don't think either one suits you. Since there are three Rons, I'd like to always see the last name included at the end of posts. Otherwise I get confused. So: Ron Day Ron Gaunt Ron Grimes

So: >Ron Day >Ron Gaunt >Ron Grimes Ok, I didn't think how I choose to sign my name would be an issue, but if you must know... Yes, I know how " Rony " is pronounced, since I speak Spanish fluently. Briefly, my mother calls me " Ronnie " , my Spanish girlfriend calls me " Rony " because the name most people call me ( " Ron " ) means " Rum " in her language and she doesn't like me being called an alcoholic beverage. And, for her to pronounce my name like you are suggesting, I would have to spell it " Rany " , which is even stranger. So, my English speaking friends call me " Ron " , my mother calls me " Ronnie " , and my girlfriend calls me " Rony " , and the folks on SATVA call me...well, I can't repeat that language here. ;-) Anyway, call me what you want, and I'll respond.
