From the trenches-bringing it home

From an Indian relief worker:

 

Dearest friends,

I hope by the grace of God you all

must be fine and doing well. Back here everywhere dead

bodys and weeping people,the scene is horrifying.

People had never thought such a high scale

disaster from a sea which they call Mother.

 

My heart burst in pain and

never stopping tears from my eyes. Every where in the

city people are morning for the near and dear one " May

God Rest their Souls in Peace " . I am looking after 300

peoples with medicine and food as i am a cook and a

trained first aid personal. I am in the front line of

the assistance with 19 volunteers.

 

Chennai [Madras] is full of people, now all

the trains are jampacked for south India. Everyone is

coming back to see their near and dear ones, people are

ferried accross from Andaman and Nicobar islands. There

are many injured people are coming everyday back to

the main land.

 

" The chill of death is in the air. "

And there is after shock and light tremor.

Everyday people are coming out of their houses and

running in an open field to save thier lives, there

are so many horrifying scenes which will chill your

blood and one can realise the real meaning of death

and losing someone very close. Today we have burried

or cremented more 136 peoples.

 

....I am carrying the same Scissor and i have bandaged

more than 80 people with the help of that Scissor and

few other things...

 

Friends why i have chosen this email

address as " Guru " Becuase guru means Preacher or

Teacher I want to be a teacher of " Love

Compassion,Humbleness,sincerity,freedom and

honesty. "

 

After seeing so many people dead and injured

and death at the doorstep, when it will come in you

never know. I have Changed my life, my inner feelings

have changed and now i want to live a new life in " Love

Compassion, Humbleness, sincerity and freedom " .
