Leap Second

The earth has tilted an inch on it's axis due to the recent quake. This

will cause it to move slightly faster (3 microseconds) or approx one

millionth of a second per day.

 

As these microseconds accumulate, planetary scientists will eventually

have to add a " leap second " to the end of the year.

 

If you've suspected that somehow time has been moving faster, and life

becoming shorter, now you have a perfect rationale for this idea. :>))
