Pre-natal new moon

Hi All,

I was wondering whether anyone has worked with the pre-natal new moon in carts.

It is said that the soul may, under normal circumstances, begin its descent into

matter 6 months prior to conception when the prenatal cycle was at the 12

o'clock line. This identification allows for two complete cycles of the Cosmic

Clock to be completed by age nine months, and suggests that the embodying soul

may have its cycle of the soul's descent into matter disrupted as much as 6

months before conception. Take, for example, the breakup of a couple intended to

conceive a child at the end of the 6 month period. Such an event may cause the

soul grief as it must stop its pre-conception preparations, and find a new time

to begin another cycle of descent. (ref:

In my example for instance I was born under a waxing Scorpio moon (sidereal

Fagan Bradley method), but my pre natal new moon cycle started in Libra, which

means: Moon in Libra This cycle focuses on a time of contemplating the self

through the reflection of our relationships with others. Justice Unforgiving

An interesting thought: a scorpio soul is always wrestling with his/her

emotions, but the whole cycle seeks in fact reflection through relationships

with others. A difficult assignment .... But it is certainly true! It also shows

my strong J-preference in MBTI.

The famous astrologer Dane Rudhyar also wrote something about the pre-natal moon

of Carl Jung:

Consider, for instance, the birth-chart of the great psychiatrist, Carl Jung,

born July 26, 1875 with the Sun in the fourth degree of Leo and the Moon in

mid-Taurus. He was born thus with the Moon waning and past the Last Quarter

phase of the lunation cycle which had begun at the New Moon of July 3rd on the

eleventh degree of Cancer. Jung's natal Sun is located in his natal 7th house,

but the eleventh degree of Cancer falls in his natal 6th house; so that the

natal Sun and the New-Moon-before-birth occupy different signs and different

houses.

Quite evidently we are dealing here with a complex nature, characterized further

by an emphasis on fixed signs, with the chart's ruler, Saturn, retrograde in

Aquarius, intercepted in the first house, squaring Pluto and loosely opposing

Uranus. It is a very dynamic chart, and the whole trend of Jung's thought and

practice of psychotherapy has been along the line of the integration of strong

oppositions and basic conflicts. The fact that the New-Moon-before-birth falls

in the 6th house suggests a concentration of energy in the field of work,

self-discipline, health, technique, etc. The Cancer-Leo combination of the two

foci of vital energy is interesting in as much as it stresses the summer

solstice signs, one ruled by the Sun, the other by the Moon. And alchemy, which

has occupied so much of Jung's attention, is based largely on the interplay of

the Sun and the Moon forces - the " King " and the " Queen " featured in alchemical

symbolism.

The rest of his article about the pre-natal moon is also worthwile to read. He

is also giving examples about Sri Aurobindo, Alexander Graham Bell, Alice

Bailey, Richard Nixon, Karl Marx and Queen Victoria:

Has anyone of you any experiences with these cycles and the role his/her own

moon is playing there?

Greetings,

Anne

i was born right after new moon. Actually, there is a 9 deg conjunction going on.

it is in my 12th house (12th and 1st are ruled by scorpio). cancer rules my 8th and leo rules my 9th.

i was born under very negative circumstances. I am a result 14 year old ho (sorry for my french) and her teacher's fling. i am being blunt here.
