Guest guest
Dear Members, Here is some data on the Delta 4 rocket that was just launched yesterday at Cape Canaveral, Fl. This rocket is designed by Boeing and will be used to lift extra heavy payloads. It will probably be used as the main launching system when the shuttle missions are retired. It appears this is going to be the main rocket that will launch military payloads into space and is currently booked only by the military. First lauch of a single Delta 4 rocket: November 20, 2002 @ 5:39 PM EST from Cape Canaveral, F. Second launch with payload using 3 Delta 4 rockets: December 21, 2004 @ 4:50 PM EST from Cape Canaveral, F. Here is a link for this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/4116119.stm Best wishes, Steve
