Rahu in Pisces

C. I for one would be very interested in someone finding the year

Rahu last

entered Pisces? To clarify my question, I can see a potential

" positive " in

Jupiter-Ketu in Virgo for spirituality but Rahu in Pisces suggests a

malefic

overtone to Revati's soulful essence; in fact I do also question the

purely

spiritual impact of the Jupiter-Ketu union since Ketu is considered

malefic.

Perhaps we have a choice in both (as always)? This is where I came

up with

" spiritual deception " since Rahu-Ketu attempted to gain immortality

through

" deceptive means, " and I think there's a lot of that potential too,

with spirituality

as with all things, more and more intensifying and accelerating.

I had earlier read your December forecast but just found the

" seasonal stars "

and read the first quarter too. I am glad that you give Mars a star

role for

courage and action (since Mars is good for Cancer lagna), but as one

person

said to me " Mars is Mars after all, " and I see more potential for

destruction with

the god of death (Pluto) and the god of war (Mars) conjoined. I

guess

ultimately I agree with Joni that the times are potentially dangerous

and that

we will need even clearer vision to move with Mars' force through the

veil or

shadow (of Rahu-Ketu), especially since Jupiter will not be in Virgo

after the

summer. -J

Dear JAnna

August 1985:

In my Timelines of History, 1985 has the first ever pope to visit a

synagogue, Tut became first black Archbishop of Cape Town, South Africa's

Dutch church agrees to opn to all races, Church of England reaffirms virgin

birth,

1985 Church of England ordains first female Anglican deacons, Pat Robertson

announced run for presidency...he lost. James Bakker, (big televangelist)

resigns in adultery scandal. Leonardo Boff published " The Maternal Face of

God. "

I hope this give you a little peace. Are the nodes triggering a personal

planet in your chart? If yes, you may be feeling them more strongly.

Dear Janna

What form might spiritual decepion take? Are you thinking of trickster

spirits playing with humans? Are you thinking of some sort of new religion

or old belief system that is shown to be deceptive? Who might be deceived?

I've seen Ketu transits bring up anxiety but RAhu seems to bring up fierce

courage....is it that courage and intensity that is frightening?

I'm really curious about this.

Thanks, Cynthia. Do you publish the Timelines of History anywhere? I

assume

you

mean that 1985 was when Rahu was last in Pisces, and the data you

produce

is very hopeful for Rahu in Pisces in 2005, suggesting spiritual

breakthroughs

to me.

What I meant about " spiritual deception " was more along the

James

Bakker lines where spirituality is commercialized and is " not what it

seems " (rahu)

with many people (i.e., Jonestown, was this Guayana, what year? the

koolaid

gurus mesmerizing the masses, etc.) who are being led like sheep

(i.e., the

spacecraft suicides, again what year?) away from the truth. There would be

some correlation here too I think with Pluto entering Sag in February.

For me personally TR Rahu-Ketu are in H-10, H-4, and I am sensitive

to the

moon's nodes but don't find many astrologers who are (sidereal SU-SA

Pushya with ME & PL also in Cancer, and Aslesha Ascendant), so I think the

lunar

ultrasenstivity

makes me more reactive to the Moon's nodes. I also came across this

astrologer, sadashiva, who does a very good interpretation of the

nakshatras

on his web site. Others who are interested might like to read his

weekly

insights. And here is what he is recently offering through teleclass

about the

nodes, with a sample weekly reading that follows. -Janna

vedicastroforecast/

Rahu / Ketu and the Psychology of Karma

1. Rahu and Ketu - The Nodes of Rahu and Ketu are the eclipse

points, where Sun and Moon are overtaken and obliterated

temporarily. The axis of Rahu and Ketu show the main forces of

desire through which Spirit has taken form through us. As such they

show the obsessions that compel us forward (Rahu) and the fears that

keep us stuck in past routines. (Ketu) Based on house and sign

position as well as their affectation of Planets, their

psychological power are often times the most compelling forces in

the chart. Once we get a grasp of what the nodes are doing, the

psychological profile of the native becomes clear.

Saturday: Pisces (Uttara Bhadra) Saturn / Jupiter / Saturn –

Double

Saturn today, you know what that means. Penance and suffering! (just

kidding) Uttara bhadra is the abode of Ahir Bhudnya, one of the 11

Rudras who gives the ability to dig deeply into things so as to root

out the truth. Truth is All – and it is All there is. Actions are

futile. Allow Saturn and Jupiter to lead to right understanding

today.

Sunday: Pisces (Revati) Sun / Jupiter / Mercury – Sun is in trine

to

Rahu with mercury retrograde and Jupiter in Virgo, Mercury's house.

Thus is great day for Devotional study and writing. Use your mind to

free itself. Revati is the last Nakshatra where the Zodiacal circle

completes. Ruled by Pusan, the Aditya, the Sun as divine Shepherd of

the sacred flocks. Be the protector of animals and give nourishment

to the world and your heart today.

Dear Janna

Timelins of History is one of my favorite reference books. It's a big

paperbook and a grat asset for this sort of thing. You can order it from

any of the big book dealers. It starts at 4500 BCE to the 1990's and breaks

the summary down into categories: one is religion.

breakthroughs

Pushya with ME & PL also in Cancer, and Aslesha Ascendant), so I think

the

lunar

ultrasenstivity

makes me more reactive to the Moon's nodes. I also came across this

astrologer, sadashiva, who does a very good interpretation of the

nakshatras

on his web site. Others who are interested might like to read his

weekly

insights. And here is what he is recently offering through teleclass

about the

nodes, with a sample weekly reading that follows. -Janna
