Guest guest
According to the Cobb website, the recount began in Ohio today in Clinton County at 7:00 a.m. Wilmington is apparently a key city in Clinton County. (I looked up Clinton County on the web.) The degree of Antares rises in the chart set for Wilmington, which means that in the zodiac, W's Mars is just at the zenith. Interesting synastry! Mercury and the partile Sun/Pluto conjunction are in the first house. The Moon is applying to Jupiter by square aspect. Ascendant lord Mars is conjunct the part of fortune and Venus above the ascendant. Scorpio is a tricky ascendant because Mars rules the first and the 6th house of enemies. I'm way too tired and busy to try to interpret this chart. Any comments are welcome. Therese
Guest guest
Thanks Therese I pulled it up and my jaw dropped. Look at all those planets in Jyeshta! I guess tht thells the story of a recount: fear of betrayal. Isn't it interesting how the Sun and Pluto are on Kerry's Sun ASC? Hard to imagine that Kerry will sit quietly on the sidelines after this. Can't say what exactly it means, but sure does stimulate curiosity. Notice the Moon angular to Jupiter. That's pretty powerful for luck. If we take the chart of a recount to mean that the 1st house is those who request it and the 7th those who are being challenged (what do y'all think???) then the first has a lot of action but the ruler.....MARs...is weak in the 12th in Libra. That looks like a lot of noise without any success. Still, it is a new Moon, that does give momentum. Merc. Retro. suggests the recount Mars and Venus are both weak doesn't look like folks will come together after the recount. Loks like another 4 years of bitterness. Notice that lord of the 1st and 7th are both weak. No body wins. Neptune in the 3rd...more scandal Uranus angluar to Venus: concern about a change of events, but Venus is very weak and URanus too far from the ASC DSC axis to indicate big change. Look forward to other commentary c Therese Hamilton [eastwest] Monday, December 13, 2004 4:43 PM Recount Horoscope According to the Cobb website, the recount began in Ohio today in Clinton County at 7:00 a.m. Wilmington is apparently a key city in Clinton County. Guest guest
Hi Cynthia......Lots of planet's in Scorpio. Mer rising and retro shows errors and foul ups. It's already been delayed. Mercury also contra parallel Saturn is not a good sign either. More delays/ frustrations.Mercury sextile Jup, and Moon applying to square of Jup would suggest legal challenge. Outcome being lost. The long term positive outlook for me is the Sun/Pluto conjoining. Key words for this aspect by Jim Lewis---The Midwife of change....rebel and malcontent...societyhas a hard time recognizingits own need for intense revolution and change....intensity and solitude represent the process of change and evolution that leads to death. In this case death of elections as we know them. We must all share the blame for this election process and not blame. This process now will not be appreciated for decades, but it is going to happen. Total conversion, a new beginning. Until then we must keep fighting the manipulative, the ruthless and power crazed. That looks like a lot of noise without any success. The ascendant lord and the 7th lord are conjoined in a weak position. Venus (7th lord) has passed Mars in the zodiac, but Mars is higher above the horizon. Venus and Mars are in mutual reception as well as conjoined. Are they fighting for position or cooperating? Both Venus and Mars have been transiting the constellation of Libra (not the sign) which deals with legal affairs. (This transit also legalized gay marriages in Canada, but also has led to the first gay divorces. Also we have the legal election hassles in Ukraine and the Scott Peterson story.) This is the lunar mansion of Vishaka, whose planetary lord is Jupiter, who rules the courts. It's interesting--neither Venus nor Mars can go anywhere through dispositorship as they fall into each other, sort of like a figure 8. >Still, it is a new Moon, that does give momentum. Merc. Thanks for your comments and interpretation of this chart, Cynthia. Could you please post the link to Joni's page on the lunar mansions? You or someone else posted it here a while ago. Guest guest
HI Therese I totally missed the mutual reception of Venus and Mars....hopes it brings reconciliation. here is Joni's website. Got o Nakshatras on the left. If anyone is interested, I can email you the lengthy text of a handout I gave during the last American COuncil of Vedic Astrologers conference. It is a sort of short version of the lunar mansions called Nakshatras. I told lots of stories of how I've seen them manifest in rather startling reality. The handout is more of the essence of the naks and things I dug up on the dieties and how I see the naks manifest over and over in clients' lives. THere are some very different interpretations of the deities than what Joni has. Much of hers comes from a very good book on them by Kenneth Johnson and that book Myths and symbolism by -_____mind went blank but Therese knows. I never read the latter book and did not see Ken's work until after my clients started to show me how they work for several years. Mine is not so steeped in tradition but more experiencial....therefore could be better or really off. It did get rave reviews at the conference by folks who were open to a new voice. smiles c Therese Hamilton [eastwest] Tuesday, December 14, 2004 9:49 PM RE: Recount Horoscope At 06:51 PM 12/13/04 -0600, Cynthia wrote: > >I pulled it up and my jaw dropped.
