Guest guest Posted November 30, 2004 Report Share Posted November 30, 2004 Dan Rather (Oct 31, 1931 @ 6:13 PM CST in Wharton, Texas), CBS news anchor, has recently announced his intention to step down from his 24 year job, but will continue to work in other areas of the news media, including 60 Minutes. His airing of a story on Sept 8th regarding George Bush's national guard duty, resulted in an embarrassing retraction and apology on Sept 20th, citing questionable documents. This incident was the work of a transiting station of Mercury on the degree of Rather's natal Neptune on August 9th. Deception regarding communications or documents would be one way of reading this.
