Guest guest
Hello everyone, I came across a passage in the book of David Frawley (Astrology of the Seers) where he evaluates the Galactic Center to be located near 6°40' Sagittarius - in the middle of the nakshatra Mula (p. 42). He also quickly refers to the Maya Calender... On the other hand, I found someone saying that the NASA calculated that the North Node of the Galactic Center was in conjunction to the Tropical Winter Solstice on October 27, 1998... Using Astrolog32 [http://uk.geocities.com/astrolog32] the only ayanamsha giving such a position is the Sassanian one, which actually places Revati (or Zeta Piscum) at 29°53' Pisces and the Galactic Center at 6°51' Sagittarius. With F/B SVP these are now at 25°08' Pisces and 2°06' Sag. Does anyone knows the sources of Frawley for the galactic Center and how he evaluates its position? -- Kind regards - François
