Guest guest
Here is Bush's election lunar return for Washington, D.C.: http://users.snowcrest.net/sunrise/abush-oct-lr.jpg W's natal chart is on the inner wheel, the lunar return planets and cusps on the outer wheel. I didn't call this lunar correctly because (as I saw it) Pluto was conjunct W's natal Ketu/south node on the lunar MC. But this turned out to be a plus for W as Chris Kevill pointed out. Uranus on the ascendant is strong in this chart, and in retrospect I'd suggest that the electronic black box voting machines helped the vote count for Bush. If the part of fortune is important in charts, then the PF in this chart is with Uranus near the ascendant. Transiting Pluto in this lunar chart closely aspects natal Uranus (with N.node) in W's natal 11th. This would be a plus, but if we consider Ketu/S.node a minus....? Does this point to underhanded doings on election day? My big question is, " Why is natal Ketu/S.node positive in this chart? It flies in the face of Jyotish tenets, doesn't it, Chris, if Ketu is prominent? The approaching transiting Saturn return is *not* prominent in this chart. There's also a suspicious looking Ketu/Mercury trine the ascendant. Siderealists don't usually count sextiles (am I wrong here?), but there are three close sextiles to angles in this chart. The Sun is sextile Pluto at the MC and Jupiter is sextile the zenith point with an orb of less than half a degree. The Moon is sextile the MC. If we ignore these sextiles, then all we have is a stellium of 8th house planets away from the angles. An angular Venus is considered benefic in westen sidereal astrology. Transiting Venus is above the descendant in this chart, and conjunct natal Mars. Mars is W's 10th house lord. If I had used Jyotish rules for this chart, this would have been a big plus even though Venus has passed Mars by transit. This chart doesn't look that strong in comparison to Kerry's elevated Jupiter/Venus in his election lunar, but we don't know if Kerry's birth time is correct. Any more thoughts on this chart from old time siderealists on this list? Anyone who has progressed the chart to November 2? Therese
