One Last Word on Sidereal Signs

Well, Ed, you didn't try hard enough. Below are some charts I pulled out of

the Rodden-McDonough AstroDatabase. These charts are a comparison of Mars

square Moon. Mars is in the 7th house in all cases and the Moon is in 10th.

The only difference is the sign of Mars. (The Cosmobiologists threw out the

signs because they never looked at the sidereal zodiac.)

 

The sidereal theory is that a planet behaves well in the sign of its

exaltation or the sign it owns. Often social status is involved. Planets in

their falls generally point to misfortune of some kind.

 

(This post is also an example of how to argue intelligently about the

zodiacs.)

MARS IN SIDEREAL CANCER (FALL) IN HOUSE 7; MOON IN LIBRA (MARS SQUARE MOON):

 

Crawford, Helen American astrologer and teacher. She has been married

three times. She thwarted three attempted rapes.

 

Farida, Queen " Egyptian royalty with her marriage to King Farouk 1/20/1938

and they had three daughters. She was subjected to humiliation and

indignity with his disregard, infidelities and insults that caused her a

great loss of face. They divorced 11/17/1948.

....Farida died of leukemia and complications 10/16/1988. "

 

Family Distress 6872 American female. At age eight, her mother hanged

herself. As a married adult, she adopted two children. Her daughter had

cerebral palsy and her son was considered gifted but couldn't read and was

rebellious. When the kids were still small, she divorced.

 

Stillborn infant 1018 American case of stillborn infant who was the

nineteenth child in the family.

 

COMMENT: Not the most fortunate profiles, are they?? Now let's look at Mars

exalted in Capricorn square the Moon in Aries:

Balbontin, Joyce American astrologer, a pro in the San Francisco area.

 

Charion, Johannes " German pro astrologer, a mathematician, physicist,

physician and humanist influenced by Melanchthon and Martin Luther. He was

the court astrologer of elector Joachim I of Brandenburg, and a notorious

wine-drinker. He practiced mundane and predictive astrology, looking for

**catastrophes and disasters**. His books include one on planet influences

in 1538.

 

Delibes, Leo " French composer of operas and ballets, an organist and choir

director. He studied music in Paris and became a chorus singer and a

student at the conservatory, 1848-1853. He became an accompanist at the

" " Theatre Lyrique " " and other various Paris churches. With his first stage

work being done in 1856, he then turned to writing operas and ballets from

1863. His best known work was " " Lakme, " " and two of his ballets

" " Coppelia " " and " " Sylvia. " "

 

Fischer, Bobby " American chess grandmaster who won his first championship

at age 14 in 1957. He was defeated by Larry Evans in 1962, won again in

1963, lost again in 1968 and won again in 1971. He became the World Chess

Champ by defeating Russia's Boris Spassky on 9/02/1972.

His attitude was so antagonistic that he was exiled from the game. After

twenty years, his exile was ended in a 9/02/1992 re-match with his old

opponent, Boris Spassky. The match was held on the island of Svetistefan.

The two began play at 3:00 PM and were to play until one won ten games.

Fischer won the duel in November of 1992, winning the top prize of $3.35

million. "

 

Keston, Brad " American child actor, he first worked 1/30/1980 from age

nine. He worked on different series, also appearing in many commercials.

Some of his roles included: " " Trapper John, MD, " " " " Taxi " " and " " Different

Strokes. " " "

 

Oliver, Susan " American actress, one of the most familiar faces seen on TV,

appearing in hundreds of series episodes from the mid-'50s to mid-'70s.

Onscreen from 1957, her work ranged from " " Father Knows Best " " to " " Night

Gallery, " " as well as her role as a regular on the daytime soap " " Days of

Our Lives, " " in the mid '70s. Her longest running role on TV was that of

Ann Howard in the popular soap opera " " Peyton Place. " " Among her directing

credits were episodes of " " M*A*S*H*, " " and " " Trapper John M.D. " "

....She became an author, director and pilot, winning the Powder Puff Derby

race in 1970 with her own leer jet. She was named Pilot of the Year by the

Association of Executive Pilots. In her book " " Odyssey, " " 1983, she

described her attempts to be the first woman to fly a single-engine plane

from New York to Moscow.

COMMENT: Funny, isn't it? These people with an exalted Mars aspecting a

10th house Moon seem to have status and fortune. And strong Martian type

personalites too. Hmmm.....Interesting.....

And finally, MARS IN ITS OWN SIGN OF SCORPIO SQUARING A 10TH HOUSE MOON IN

AQUARIUS:

 

Hersh, Seymour " American investigative reporter and author who has often

been labeled a master of governmental expose. He is noted for his

award-winning articles on the My Lai massacre, CIA domestic spying and

wiretaps, and other major stories. He was named the recipient of a

Pulitzer Prize in 1970 and has written four controversial books as he was

once quoted as saying, " " I want people to know the truth. " " He earned his

B.A. in history in 1958 and began his journalism career the following year

as a copy boy. Later, he became a police reporter, worked for the UPI,

became a member of the Washington Press Corps and reported as a

correspondent to the Pentagon.

On 11/10/1997, his biography, " " The Dark Side of Camelot, " " was published

with a $1 million advance. The reviewers were harder on Hersh than on his

subject, John F. Kennedy, calling the book a rehash of gossip and biased

reporting. He serves up long-standing rumors, many of which are

unsubstantiated, about JFK's alleged mob connections, a brief marriage in

1947 and a history of venereal disease, as well as the womanizing that is

no longer news...The product of a happy childhood, he is a self-styled

outsider, brash and fearless who does not mind being labeled a hothead...

When he is not beating the bushes for issues to attack, he is making

ferocious moves on the tennis court. "

 

Ritchie, Brenda " American talent manager of vocal artists; the former wife

of Lionel Ritchie. She and Lionel met at Tuskegee University and fell in

love. With the outstanding success of his melodic, superbly crafted songs,

they were able to marry in 1975 and, by December 1983, move into a Bel Air

mansion in Southern California. In June 1988, Brenda was arrested for a

loud and physical ruckus, outraged to find her husband with model Diane

Alexander in Alexander's apartment.

On 4/24/1991, Lionel issued a statement to the press that their 16-year

marriage was over and they planned to divorce. With a lifetime of

experience in the music industry through her ex-husband, Brenda opened her

own management office. "

 

COMMENT: Well, this Scorpio Mars seems to bring a bit of aggression with

it, but also success in the worldy sense. In other words in its own sign of

Scorpio Mars is being Mars. Surprise, surprise!!
