Hi Jori,

First a sincere apology for the delay in your post appearing on the list.

I've had a house guest and have been forgetting to check for posts for new

members, who are always on moderated status. You've been changed to regular

status, and there should be no more delays in seeing your messages on the

list. Welcome to Sidereal Astrology!

Jori, it would be intersting to do a solar return chart for your business,

if you have the time of day the business was started.

Jori, this is a BIG order, especially since sidereal astrologers disagree

on some zodiac and house basics. But this is astrology in the 21st century!

For starters, check the archives and past messages on this list. If you

'expand' each message page, you can skim through all the articles on the

page. This saves lots of time, by page downing through the messages. (First

click on 'messages' on the left hand side of the screen, expand the

messages, then keep going to the 'previous' page until you get tired of

reading.)

The newest and latest discussions on sidereal astrology are on this list.

You'll find everything from the highly technical and mathematical to a

down-to-earth basics discussion of zodiac signs. The bottom

line--everything is up for grabs on this list except the sidereal zodiac!

Please ask away, and we'll do the best to answer your questions. One or two

on this list are also happy to interpret your natal chart if you post our

birth detals. Bettina, especially is good at this. We're happy to see

another lady on the list!

Blessings,

Therese

Hi Theresa,

Thanks for the welcome, and don't worry about the delay. I've had a bit of a

delay over here myself, as we almost lost our house to a wildfire last

Thursday. I live in Corsica, in the Balagne, which is a prime target for

summer fires. At least 2,000 acres of dry maquis (including ancient olive

and oak trees) were burned around our village and our house was on the

frontline. The fire came within 20 feet of the house---the whole village was

out with garden hoses fending off the flames until the fire planes and fire

department arrived. It was a frightening experience, but I kept trying to

focus on fire as a purifier and prayed to use the transformative energy of

the experience on a personal level, however it turned out. We're still

recovering (I have a little post-traumatic stress today, to say the least),

but after seeing all the people in the US who've lost their homes in the

last few days, I'm the last one to complain. We're all alive and well and,

miraculously, no people or homes were lost during the whole 10-hour fire

that consumed the fields and mountains.

Well, this business idea has been growing over the last two years, so it's

difficult to say when it actually was born. I chose to do the chart for the

day next spring that I'll be opening the doors to the public and counting it

as the atelier's official birthday. Let me know if you have a better idea!

I'll take your suggestion to read through the archives---once I have my feet

on the ground again, that is---but it seems to me that asking someone to

interpret my chart would be a huge imposition. I know how much work that

entails. I'll tell you one thing, when I created my Sidereal chart (I'm

using Io), I went from having a 2° Capricorn Sun with a Sagittarius rising

to being a full-fledged Sagittarius and Sag rising---and this suits me down

to the ground. This new emphasis on Jupiter in my life (which means letting

go of the overbearing Saturn I've been carrying around with me for decades)

is reflected in so many positive attitude changes and growth I'm anyway

experiencing these days. I've decided to burn my Tropical chart as a

symbolic goodbye to all the heavy weight I just don't need any more. Hello

to a little more trust in the Universe!

Just in case someone wants some practice, here are my birth details---but I

certainly don't expect a free lunch:

25 December 1951, 6:50 a.m., New York, NY

Thanks so much for your help,

Jori
