Guest guest
Dear Friend General method used for calculating dasmansa or navmansa is defined by maharshi parashara in BPHS, 1. Navmansa : for Movable rasi it starts from self , for fixed rasi it starts from 9th thereof and for dual rasi it starts from 5th rasi. for example first navmansa for arise would be arise , for tauras this would be capricorn and for gemini libra. 2. Dasmansa : for even rasi this first dasmansa would self and for an even rasi and 9th rasi from the odd rasi, for example, for arise first part of dasmansa would be 9th thereoff i.e. saggi. and for tauras this would be self. Guest guest
Different ways of calculating and examining varga charts, such as dashamamsha, hora, trishamsha, dreshkana have been proposed for some time. The first time I read about these was in the early 90s through an article in Santhanam's Times of Astrology and then in the last several years through Sanjay Rath's writings. Of all of these hora and trishamsha and particularly the former open such a new window. I will look forward to this and similar threads where such gems are revealed and show how better to look at these vargas in our regular study of jyotish. , " yaapc76 " <yaapc76> wrote: > > respected friends, > There are two methods for working out 'DASHMANS' varg, one by dividing > each rashi in ten parts as in sequence as being done for Navmansa > etc.,and other by differntiating the rashis in 'even' > and 'odd'rashis. What can be the best method as this varg influence the > profession of an individual,in which case accuracy in calculation does > matter.regards >
