Guest guest
, 22 September 2003 MARS IN 10 IN VIRGO It may seem that simply taking Mars in 10 is rather arbitrary, so after posting these Virgo-Pisces positions, I can go back and give the total 10th house picture and include all the relevant planets in another post. For these Virgo-Pisces charts I simply called up all the Mars in either Virgo or Pisces squaring the ascendant from the 10th. I sorted the charts by the degree of Mars and simply took the first 10 for each sign, eliminating ‘twins,' ‘noted family,' ‘birth defect' and ‘surrogate baby' since we have no data on what these people did in life. **I've included some information on dispositors for Lisa.** MARS IN VIRGO (1) Asc 2 Sag; Mars 1 Virgo (conjunct Uranus): ASTROLOGER who uses midpoints and prefers not to use signs of the zodiac. Prone to Mars type temper outbursts. Navamsa: Mars in Capricorn. (Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, seems to prefer a more mathematical approach to astrology, ignoring the more flowery and symbolic signs of the zodiac.) Here we have a Mercury ruled occupation. I've noted in many charts that early sidereal Virgo is related to astrology if teneted by certain planets. (2) Asc 4 Sag; Mars 2 Virgo, Mars in navamsa Capricorn (strong, exalted): A SUICIDE, jumped in front of a subway train; **The dispositor is Mercury in Mars-ruled Scorpio in 12.** (3) Asc 29 Scorpio; Mars in 2 Virgo; Mars conj Pluto in Cap navamsa: HOMOSEXUAL MALE, no other information. I've seen Pluto very often associated with male homosexuality. **Dispositor Mercury in Aries in 7.** Mars is the sex drive, 7th relates to relationships, Mercury is often associated with homosexuality (due to Greek myth associations) and Aries is a male sign. (4) Asc 4 Sag; Mars 3 Virgo, Mars/Sat in Cap navamsa: MASS MURDERER; **Dispositor Mercury is at 1 Sag opposite Uranus with the Mars square from 10th.** (5) Asc 9 Sag; Mars 5 Virgo, Aquarius navamsa: ACTOR **Dispositor Mercury is in 10 in Libra conjunct the Sun (Sun and 10th being fame, Venus-ruled Libra being the arts).** (6) Asc 2 Sag; Mars 6 Virgo; Mars in Aquarius navamsa conjunct Jupiter: ACTRESS; **Dispositor Mercury in 6th is conjunct the Sun in Taurus (Venus ruled sign of the arts, Sun for fame)** (7) Asc 4 Sag; Mars 8 Virgo, Mars with Pluto in Pisces navamsa (think Tropical Aries energy): SECOND IN COMMAND TO APPLEWHITE OF HEAVEN'S GATE: (Note Jupiter-ruled Pisces for ‘religion.') **Dispositor Mercury in 1st, Sag, Mars square from 10.** (8) Asc 5 Sag; Mars 9 Virgo, Mars in Pisces navamsa with Rahu; WRITER who many believe glorified the DRUG CULTURE. (Virgo for writing, Rahu is associated with drugs and criminal activities; Often the value of the navamsa is the conjunction of planets, here Mars with Rahu.) (9) Asc 12 Sag; Mars 9Vir57, Mars in navamsa Pisces with Pluto: HOMOSEXUAL MALE **Mars for sex drive; Dispositor Mercury opposed by Uranus, squared by Mars** (10) Asc 7 Sag; Mars 10Vir08; Mars in navamsa Aries (own sign): TALK SHOW HOST; (Jupiter and Venus are conjunct the Sag Ascendant) Comments: In India it's said that Mars in a sign of Mercury isn't good because Mercury can injure Mars. There is some evidence for this in the above charts which include a mass murderer, a suicide, two homosexuals (which makes social adjustment somewhat difficult because of the prejudice of people), and a Heaven's Gate principal player plus the more normal Mars expression in a person prone to outbursts of temper. Note that the position and aspects of the dispositor of Mars seem to be very important in showing how the Mars energy plays out. I didn't purposely choose these charts. They were merely the first ten charts sorted by the degree of Mars. So we're seeing here some evidence for a section of a sign--early Virgo--being something of a critical place for Mars, especially if Mars aspects its dispositor, Mercury. For Sag rising, Mars rules the benefic 5th as well as the malefic 12th house. (As per Indian astrology.) I'll put Mars in Pisces charts in a separate post. ....And this is only one very small example of the research facts we can draw from the Rodden/McDonough AstroDatabank.
