Guest guest
Members, The second race in the Triple Crown will start today at 6:15 PM EDT at the Pimlico Race Track in Maryland. The ACS atlas lists the location of the track as: 39N22 76W41. Smarty Jones, so far undefeated, is the expected winner, followed by Lion Heart, Imperialism and Rock Hard Ten. There is a field of 10 horses, after Cliff's Edge scratched this morning due to an injury. 8 Libra is rising at the start of race, with 13 Cancer culminating. The Sun has just entered 0 Taurus (all Fagan positions). The Nodes are squaring the MC, while Uranus quincunx's the MC, suggesting to me a possible upset in the expected results. Smarty Jones DOB is Feb 28, 2001 in Pennsylvania. The transitng Sun today makes exact degree conjunction to the horses natal Saturn--this doesn't look like the winner. Looking at some symbology, Libra rises and Sun is in Taurus suggesting a Venusian influence on the horses name. The nakshatra rising is Swati, which means " the sword " . The Sun occupies the nakshatra of Krittika which means " the cutters " and it's symbols are " a flame, a razor, an axe and other edged weapons " according to Dennis Harness in his book " The Nakshatras " . Venus as the lord of the Asc and Sun is in conjucntion to Mars and Saturn in Gemini, suggesting a somewhat negative influence on Venus. One of the horses, who finished 11th in the Kentucky Derby and is a 30/1 longshot in todays race, and tied with 2 other horses for 2nd to last place is called " Song of the Sword " . Based on the above, I think Song of the Sword will cause an upset today and finish in either 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. Guest guest
My horse (Song of the Sword) was running a strong 3rd at the 1/2 and 3/4 point of the race, but alas, dropped back to 9th (2nd from last) at the finish line. An unexpected bit of sunshine for a long shot--maybe that was his 15 minutes of fame. Smarty Jones won again and is on his way to a possible rare triple crown victory at the Belmont, I believe next week. Looks like I'm on my way to my own triple crown..of the reverse order. :>)) Symbology plays a role, but perhaps a small one.....
