Part 2: Asc Moon Venus in Ar/Ta/Ge

Well, I was in for a surprise here. I thought there would be a whole bunch

of charts with the Asc/Moon/Venus in Ar/Ta/Ge in AstroDatabase, but there

were only a handful of charts in each category and when I narrowed the

criteria to the Asc/Mo/Ve being within 15 degrees of each other (to try to

keep them all in the vacinity of the first house), so few charts remained

that they're only anecdotal. So make of them what you will! I'll have to

find another way of trying to isolate the supposed influence of signs of

the zodiac.

 

Here and there I added a comment in brackets . I've used the Lahiri

ayanamsa (the only sidereal choice in ADB), which gives planetary positions

of 53 minutes greater than Fagan-Bradley.

Billy Crystal: American actor and comedian, gifted mimic and major league

comic. Asc 10.3 Moon 12.2 Venus 14 (all Trop Taurus)

Col. G. Honasan: Filopine rebel and former government aide; the leader of

rebel troops who attacked the presidential palace in Manila...during the

attempted coup he failed and was captured; Released and became a wanted

fugitive. He eventually signed a cease fire agreement that paved the way

[Venus people don't lead rebellions. But Venus being only 8 degrees from

the Moon probably helped with the cease fire agreement.]

Pilot 7941: Pilot with instrument and commercial ratings. Aries 23.2 Moon

9 Venus 10 (7 06 All Trop TA)

 

[The interesting thing about this Pilot's ascendant degree is that George

Lucas...(Star Wars)...has his ascendant at 24 08 Aries and a young man I

know who was an absolute Star Wars nut has an ascendant of 24 27 Aries. A

few hundred cases of similarities in close ascendant degrees and we have

the beginning of a case for degree meanings.]

must have diplomatic skills...Venus.]

 

Scott Holden: Asc 3.9 Moon 3.0 Venus 10.7 (6 59; Asc and Moon are in T TA)

American noted family; Son of William Holden and Brenda Marshall

[No real description of anything here except for famous parents.]

 

Czarina Alexandra: Asc 19.4 Moon 23.5 Venus 12.6 (8 07 Moon is in T TA)

This famous lady was the one who consulted the evil Rasputin. Had 4

daughters and a hemophelic son. She and her family were killed by a gun

squad. Mars is at 18.6 TA, right on the ascendant.

 

[We'd never figure out anything from these Taurus charts. Too much overlap

of the T and S zodiacs.]

[These Gemini cases are more helpful than the Taurus ones. Only one point

out of 9 in Tropoical Gemini.]

 

Astrology in the west deals mainly with personality, but most of the

biographies in ADB emphasize events rather than psychology. So if we want

to investigate sign meanings, we have to go with external events and

characteristics. Psychology is mostly the planets anyway.

 

Gee...even a little research is hard work. It's much easier to spout off

about our preferences or beliefs!!
