Guest guest
Hi Therese! Quite interesting! Thanks for the email. This new time! In Europe, tropical astrologers also consider USA as a Gemini country. The sun in Gemini in the sidereal chart is to consider more than in in the Ascendant, because Sagitarius is in the first house. Sagitarius in I speaks for the manifestation in the world, because Sagitarius is mundane in the IXth house. Mercurius in VII in Cancer (motherly care) is exact opposite Cupido (family) in I in Capricorn. Mercury presents USA against in offering it's own family. I do not know, if this is the right explanation. Moonnode in VII speaks for the same. I have seen charts with Moon Northnode in X, where the homelife is a problem, in one way or the other. I progressed the Moonnode. At June 4th, Ketu started in X a new periode. A difficult periode for USA people in homelife to go through. I compared several charts around this USA chart;such as G.W.Bush's chart. It shows a fenomenal connection. Cheerio, Anny on the Political List a member posted data on the James Kelleher USA chart, which is set for 6:30 p.m. http://www.jameskelleher.com/world1.htm This chart was the jumping off point for a discussion between myself and Cynthia Novak. The sidereal list has been quiet lately, so I thought it might be interesting to move the discussion from the Political List to this list. Here is my post and Cynthia's reply. There will be another post with follow-up discussions. ----- Post #1: I'm not sure how the Kelleher USA chart for 6:30 p.m. passed me by until now. But I took a quick look at it last night. The planets on the western side of the chart don't necessarily have to do with control by others (an untested concept at best). Rather, these planets could simply mean international visibility, involvement in world affairs and an indication of America being the great melting pot of the world. Also 'many partners' in the sense of allies, which equals international strength. I checked a few solar return charts (corrected for precession). The 2001 WTC chart has Pluto and Mars at the nadir/IC, and natal Mars falls at the zenith/MC. The ever-to-be-remembered Election 2000 chart has Mercury-Mars-Sun on the ascendant square Moon at the nadir. Natal Jupiter (the Republican party?) and Venus straddle the solar ascendant. The Mercury-Mars-Sun on the solar ascendant fall right on GW's natal Sun. This chart may need our serious consideration. Sincerely, Therese ---------- Post #2: Dear Therese I reviewed that chart over a year ago. It has some interesting aspects. Kelleher is a Vedic astrologer and went to great lengths to rectify it. But if it is The Big One, and the Moon represents the people, how do you interpret the transit of Uranus that went over that Moon. An astrologer friend of mine uses it and went on record that there would be a great loss like a terrorist attack with the Uranus transit...didn't happen. I still use the old Gemini rising chart. I put Uranus on the ASC and it seems to work very well for me. I look at the others, but they don't sing like that one does, and I used it to predict 9-11. Go figger! Perhaps the Right chart is more dependant upon the astrologer. The Solte chart never resonated with me, but it does for many. The Constitution chart does talk to me. Anyway, I would love to hear how mundane astrologers would interpret a Uranus to the Moon chart. I would love to hear a discussion on the New Iraq chart. BTW, Saturn tightly approaching the Sun of 7-4th chart and we lost an old president. As it comes upon that Sun the sitting president is publicly abandoned by a large group of former officials. Hi Cynthia, Luckily we don't have to guess what this transit means. All we have to do is check history. I expect that you are looking at the Tropical chart rather than the sidereal Vedic chart. The tropical and sidereal transits will hit at different times because of precession. This particular sidereal transit in 1993 correlated with the U.S. invasion of Iraq in March. There was a lot of unrest throughout the country and many demonstrations against the invasion. The Tropical transit happened earlier in the year. By the time of the invasion of Iraq, Uranus had gone into Pisces. The Moon rules the 8th Vedic house (maybe the Tropical 8th as well?). The 8th has to do with troubles, conflicts and possible loss of life. Transits to the Moon will also bring the effects of Rahu (Moon's north node) in the 8th because the Moon is in Rahu's lunar mansion. The Moon disposites Rahu and Mercury in the 8th, Mercury being lord of 7th and 10th. So we have unpleasant and troublesome activities that will put the U.S. in the public eye. Now we can verify the effects of Uranus transiting the Moon by going back to the two other times this happened in the U.S. chart. 1919 marked the period toward the end of the First world war and U.S. involvement. The war ended near that time. Also in January of 1920 the ammendment prohibiting the use and manufacture of alcohol went into effect. You can bet there was a fair amount of civil unrest at that time! The earlier Uranus transit in 1835 marked the battle at the Alamo. So this transit to the Moon marks civil unrest and warfare with potential loss of life. It would be interesting to check the transits to the Moon by other planets. >An astrologer friend of mine uses it >and went on record that there would be a great loss like a terrorist >attack with the Uranus transit...didn't happen. No, instead **WE** were the invaders of Iraq. I've never used the USA Gemini chart, but I know that it's a favorite among Tropical astrologers.
