Richard started it!! However, the symbolism is very appropriate. I have a

sky program that superimposes the old constellational figures over the stars.

 

Edgar Cayce said that Pluto represented a consciousness that was only

beginning to be felt--'a developing spiritual awareness.' With the sex

scandal, this is certainly happening in the Catholic Church. I grew up in a

Catholic family, and priests were regarded as practically Jesus himself.

They were spoken of in hushed tones of respect. And the pope WAS God! I

was not favorably regarded when my little 7 year old self stood in front of

my mother and proclaimed, " I don't BELIEVE in the infallibility of the pope!! "

 

Now Catholics are forced to say, " Priests and bishops are only human, after

all, " and Catholics now have to look inside themselves for guidance in

their lives. More spiritual awareness, yes! We're starting to move away

from priests and ministers as the mouthpieces of God. I predict that the

total collapse of the churches will happen during Pluto's transit of

sidereal Sagittarius.

A friend of mine who has a relative in the Catholic priesthood says that he

said a HUGE percentage of seminary students are gay, maybe up to 50-60

percent. I think they might think that becoming a priest might cure them of

homosexuality. Well, we've seen where that myth has gone.

Yes, Pluto....which brings what is hidden into the open. Cayce again:

" Pluto and Vulcan are one and the same. " (826-8) Vulcan ruled volcanos,

sudden eruptions from deep within the earth. In answering a client's

question about the effects of Pluto conjunct the ascendant, the sleeping

Cayce replied:

 

" [The Pluto infuence] is gradually *growing,*...in the future affairs or

developments of man towards the spiritual-minded influences... [These

people} in the present...are merely becoming *aware* of same. Rather within

the next hundred to two hundred years [Pluto's influence will be felt in

the affairs of man.] " (1100-27)

 

Which is to say that in the majority of cases in the present Pluto should

probably not even be considered in the individual horoscope, and that

includes synastry. I suspect that in almost every case Pluto is a mute note

in the birth chart.

I cannot understand why the regulars on this list don't discuss horoscopes.

I think they used to in the early days of the list.
