Respected Dionisios ji,

Makan kundali [ kundali of the house ] is a chapter by itself and can

not be dealt in detail here. You may have to read from the books

written on the Lal Kitab. However, I am giving you a very brief

summary on how to make a kundali based on the house.

Basics :

House # 1 = entire east side but not with the east wall.

house #2 = North west corner

house #3 = entire south side, but not with the south wall.

house #4 = North east corner

house #5 = with the east wall

house # 6 = entire north side

house # 7 = south west corner

house # 8 = with the south wall

house # 9 = center of the house [ any open area within the house]

house # 10= entire west side but not with the wall

house # 11 = with the west wall

house # 12 = south east corner.

Step one :

Draw a horoscope [ blank ]

Step Two :

enter the residence, if you note some prominent karak of a planet

kept in the area, write the planet in the house corresponding to that

direction of the residence.

Thus complete the horoscope.

step 3 :

compare the planets you have plotted in the horoscope with the

indications from the life events of the person. If necessary modify

the placements. This should be done only if you do not know the date

of birth for the person.

But if you know the date of birth of the person and not the time of

birth, then it is only the ascendant which has to be fixed. Turn

around the horoscope which you have prepared for the date of birth

such that it compares well with the horoscope you have plotted [

makan kundali] after entering the residence. Comapring the two

horoscopes you will get a fair idea of where the ascendant should be.

You can do a fine tuning of the ascendant through some prominent

events in the life of the person.

has repeatedly asked me to but is impossible to find the time birth.

I was thinking that Lal Kitab has no way to do this and I would hvae

to resort to other Vedic time rectification ways but we cannot use

those techniques along with this kind of Astrology. I am really

excited that Lal Kitab has an answer even to this!!

Dear Varun ji,

Thank you for such a wonderful and detailed reply. I just need one

point to clarify , we do this for the house of residence of a person

or for the place where he was born?

Respected Dionisios ji,

Yes, it should be the house a person is born in or what is known as

an ancestral home.

But these days most of the ancestral homes are either modified or

shifted. In that case we can also take the house in which a person

has lived for at least 10 years.
