Cyril Fagan was nothing short of inspired when he brought the Sidereal Zodiac

back to the West. He did this when he discovered that correcting for

precession was the key to accurate luminary return and other types of transit

charts.

 

I wouldn't worry at all about offending the stodgy and the closed-minded.

Ask any Tropicalist, " But how do you know that? " and they look at you like

you've said something unpardonable.

 

Or, say to them, " Someone born on the first day of summer is a Cancer, and

somone born on the first day of winter is a Capricorn, right? " and they'll

say yes, because they tie their zodiac to the seasons. Then point out to

them that the first day of summer in one hemisphere is the first day of

winter in the other. How can two people born on the same day be born in

opposite signs? Tying the signs to the seasons is obviously ridiculous.

 

East and West can learn much from each other. Let the Western Sidereal-Vedic

dialog continue!
