A chara!

 

Astrology has been a lifelong interest for me (I began at the age of

12)--self-dis-covery is of utmost importance and I enjoy accumulating

the tools (i.e. knowledge) so that I may facilitate this to the extent

of self-actualization (yes, so relative, a floating signifier to

boot)...

 

Vedic Astrology materialized for me about 3 years ago after I had taken

an Astronomy course in college....using the sidereal zodiac seemed more

rational to me after that...additionally, the Sagittarius Sun, Leo Moon,

Libra Rising, Mars in Aries, and Venus, Jupie and Merc. in Cappie " fit "

the Self I knew much better (there are indicators in my tropical zodiac

of these influences, but they are more complicated to perceive--who

needs more complication?)...that 23 degrees difference is merely a

" projection " of personality, not my atmakaraka--as the precession

continues I believe that those who do not know their true-Selves will

experience a greater and greater tearing--perhaps ONE of the reasons for

all of the increasing number of " bi-polar " dis-orders and schizophrenia

(so apparent in the Western World)--ah, yes, there are more conditions

than just this, (societal influences for example) but all must be

considered (true scientists don't throw any possibility out)....I too

have just joined the SA list as my Vedic abilities went into a

hibernation period...I'm ready to whip it my BPHS again....
