Uh huh, Ed, and don't you want to say something about zodiacs here?

Yes, my most gracious friend. Sidereal is best.

Thanks for my smile of the week!! Just think how much more convenient it

would be to always have the stars in exactly the same longitude. You do

realize that with your mastery of mundane astrology, you could make a

terrific case for a fixed zodiacal framework? Whether the signs mean

anything or not.

My hope would be that we can use both zodiacs with equal respect.

The sun's cycle is pretty important, and the sidereal zodiac does not

take it into consideration; planetary and stellar declinations are

dependent upon the trop zod.

My whole point all along is that we are being offered a false dilemma

by those who insist we must choose between one zodiac or another.

Both have their merits.

And, furthermore, it is always good to know when certian fixed

stars " go cardinal. " Right now, two stars in Auriga are doing just

that. Some reputable astrologers have suggested that the four stars

in Auriga are the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Coinkidink?

Best,

Ed K
