Dear Lakshmi,

Hare Rama Krishna,

I originally learned from David Frawley's writings that Mercury

contained within its scope the power of the Buddhic discrimination,

wherein the real is separated from the unreal. Also, the Divine Word is

associated with Mercury. Knowledge of astrology is said to require a

strong Mercury. I don't know Sanjayji's views on this.

Respected Varun ji,namasthe. I appreciate your quick response to my confusion and with that confidance I request your kind attention to let me know the logic behind one more upaya. I really donot know whether it hasbeen practised from earlier days but I have come to know about it recently. The upaya is taking one of the names of LORD SRIMANNARAYANA from VISHNU SAHASRA NAMAVALI for recitation purpose and do PARIKRAMA or we can say PRADAKSHINA around the temple in the specified path, which would be culminating at the DHWAJA STHABHA, reciting that taken name for a fixed number of times of PARIKRAMA.After completing the procedure the person is requirred to take TULASI TEERDHAA. Now a days this custom is getting popular in Hyderabad. I hope this request may also have some LALKITAB background. With regards P.S.Ramanuja charyulu
