Guest guest
Hi to All and thanks to Therese for this link here. I have been studying Western for over thirty years and recently decided to learn as much as I can about Jyotish. This is where I found Therese's link here. For many years I have been using sidereal astro for solar return charts with some success; using precession corrected time, so already have an interest in sidereal astrology and it makes sense to me. Just have to wrap my brain around it now. Needless to say I am fascinated and eager to learn, and look forward to reading and reading and reading early postings onward, warm wishes, Morgana , Therese Hamilton <eastwest@s...> wrote: > At 01:20 AM 5/7/04 -0700, Steve wrote: > >Yes of course no scholar would, however one picture may be worth a > >thousand words and I would be interested in a number of opinions of this > >picture--I intend to pursue this as time permits. > > Good! Guest guest
Hi Morgana! Nice to see you here. Bettina hangs out here sometimes. This list was founded as an information source for the western Fagan-Bradley school of astrology, but it seems that Jyotish just can't stay away. Some of us who post here use mainly Jyotish techniques. Anyway, you're on the right track using precession corrected returns. Have you looked at the Kerry and Bush returns for this year? These precession corrected returns have their roots in the western sidereal school. Well--on second thought--sort of. India has used them for a long time, but they aren't interpreted in the same way they are in the west. See you on Thursday. Tomorrow (drum roll) another day in the big city at the dentist's office.
